Vegas on a budget.

As one of the many people having employment issues off and on during the past couple of years, my hiring has decreased. Not that it was ever as frequent as some. But I"m wondering if anyone can make a Vegas recommendation that won't break my bank. I usually hire for a couple of hours, but so many of the rates I'm seeing are 250-300. Either that are they display the always annoying "ask me". Quite frankly, I've always been able to find some awesome guys that are still in the 170-200 range. But this is the first time I'm looking in Las Vegas and it would really be nice if I could find someone during my trip in a few weeks. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

You're also going to find more of what you've already found; Vegas is a tough market. I could be wrong but Vegas doesn't strike me as a very gay city. I haven't seen same numbers of gay guys escorting as there are in other cities. There seems to be a lot more gay for pay. I have some very specific tastes, but I've found that in Vegas more so than other cities the guys I'm meeting are trying to maximize their rate while minimizing their "interactivity". For some, your 250-300 just gets them in the door. I don't know for sure, but I wonder whether most of the top notch talent is competing for a small but consistent business among the truly high-rollers.

 

You might check Backpage. I've had some good luck there, but the faces always change. That means you're dealing with risk with unknown guys though. New guys with no review means you're pioneering, or you're potentially facing a sting (though I have not heard about any sting operations in Vegas myself). With Backpage you are going to have the screen out the "women and couples only" guys. You should also Google their phone numbers. With so many of the Backpage ads the phone number will pull up hits on female escorts. At that point you're probably dealing with a small-time agency or a boyfriend-girlfriend hustling team.

 

Tell us what you like though. It might lead to a more specific, useful recommendation.

You have Peter Hung and Ace, both with stellar reputations, available at or near your pricepoint. Additionally, there are several escorts advertising on rentboy that fall in your range. In some cases it will require you to do an incall (go to them). Vegas is a literal crapshoot, so good luck.

Besides taking in the escorts, I would recommend seeing a show or doing a nice restaurant. Beyond the recommendations listed earlier, I'd say there is a dearth of good escorts in LV. If you have a few days extra, there are also nice national parks in the Nevada Utah vicinity that you might consider visiting (Bryce, Zion) or even Red rock canyon or Mt Charleston for a different change of pace from the bright lights and hustle of LV.

Kevininsa making an offer is not the same as bargaining. I have repeatedly stated on this site that I NEVER bargain with an escort. He names his price and I either accept it or I reject it. Now I have never done this but I see nothing wrong in the initial email to an escort saying something like the following. "I will be in Las Vegas from ?? to ?? and would be interested in getting together with you for x amount to time. Would x dollars be acceptable to you? Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you". If is says no then no it is. If he ignores your email then the answer is no but he doesn't have the guts to say so in an email.

I did notice that, but was caught up in the likes & dislikes part of the conversation. And as I mentioned earlier Mike unfortunately isn't available when I'm there. I do think I've located someone that will fit the bill nicely, and possibly even a backup.
