Did I miss announcement or something as to why there are now reviews posted for today?

I was wondering the same thing.

PS Have fun in Chicago. I was supposed to be there that same weekend but personal matters came up. Plan your outside activities in advance because the city is mobbed with people for the marathon

Thanks for that link. I am so happy I did not miss Ricky Cruz's first review. And I am also surprised that it is his first review. But, it was also the reviewer's first review, and he let us know that he did not trust Ricky in his house, so he rented a hotel room for the occasion. He sent a limo to the airport to pick Ricky up, and, despite having seen Ricky's pictures, was still astounded at his looks. Ricky even bought clothes to go out to dinner in. But, apparently they weren't good enough either, so he took him to a mall to buy a suit. They had a nice dinner, and nice sex. I am glad that Ricky earned his $1000 overnight fee. Only $1000? Let's see- last minute airfare, limo, shopping trip, hotel bill, dinner, parking, Ricky's fee, and no doubt, tip. A little more than a thousand.

So a first-time reviewer hires his first ever escort, not a local guy for an hour or two but an out-of-towner whom he flew in for an overnight. Even though the escort had a nice enough outfit for dinner, the client, after having known the escort for all of a few minutes, decided to buy the escort a suit at an upscale mall (did a quick check, no JC Penney at the Beverly Center), which I can't imagine the escort was able to wear to dinner. Even if the jacket somehow fit without alteration, what did they do with the unhemmed pants? Tape them up just for dinner?? Gosh, maybe I'm just too cynical. As Judy Tenuta used to say, "It could happen!!"

Oddly I had the same reaction as the others here to this review. Many of us wo have hired over the years and exchanged views and more advice from experiences would seem to fall into the side of NEVER inviting a guy for a first date for an out-of-town overnighter (these boards are FULL of stories of very sad and disasterous such dates).

Yes, such a date "could happen" and Ricky in his ads and films seems very nice and easy on the eyes as a sort of youngish-Latino (although his agwe is more my own speed), I am too jaded to ever hire a guy for more than a few hours for the first time out.

Still waiting for my review from last week to be published. There must be a backlog. That's a good thing, right?

Today is the 28th of September; the reviews which are posted are for the 27th [yesterday]. Thus this thread is appropriate!

It's all relative and depends on your point of view ... It's Saturday, the 29th in Sydney and Melbourne as we speak.

it does happen and yeah, I'd say you're cynical.

clients who can afford this kind of thing can also afford to dress their escort the way they want. I've bought plenty of guys I see suits, clothing. They appreciate the token and I get a perfectly dressed date.

My first hiring experience didn't include the purchase of clothes; however, the rest feels familiar. I flew out of town (rather than fly him in), rented a nice hotel and hired an escort whose ad I had followed for over a year before I got the nerves to hire. Since it was my first hiring experience, I anticipated being nervous and wanted to get to know the guy first so I could become comfortable and enjoy the experience. Yes, the entire trip was a little pricey, but very worth the experience. (I hadn't found this site yet, so there was no review.)

Most of the scenario is quite credible to me. Of course, there are plenty of zillionaires in LA (and most major cities) for whom the expense of the flight, limo, hotel, not to mention the escort's overnight fee, is less to him, relatively speaking, than a Frappuccino costs me (have you seen the price of those lately?!?). Credible, that is, until the suit purchase, a detail which made the evening sound more like the escort's fantasy client than a bona fide review. Certainly some affluent clients enjoy shopping for their escorts, but jimboivyo, I'm curious, did you ever buy an expensive (I'm assuming the suit purchased at the Beverly Center was quite expensive, given how 5-star the whole evening was) suit for an escort you had met just minutes prior? I can see an expensive purchase for one's favorite escort(s), or maybe even a day or two into a long-term hire that's going fabulously well, but just minutes after meeting??

I've seen a surprising number of ads in which the escort is seeking "generous clients only" - a phrase that might be the very definition of "off-putting." I also noticed that Ricky Cruz's hourly rate is $300 for the first hour, $250 for the second, which is on the high end even for NYC, and almost eye-popping for Las Vegas, with its wonderfully low cost of living. Hey, Ricky is free to charge whatever he wants, just as escorts are free to advertise "generous clients only." But Ricky wouldn't be the first Vegas escort who wrote his own review. This "fabulous evening" struck me as a way of saying "generous clients only," without being so gauche as to actually say it.

I've been here a long time. Submitted many reviews. I know the guidelines. This one is taking far longer than usual. It's not a big deal. But I know the drill so no need for the snarky, queen response.

Unless the client travels with his own tailor there is no way you can purchase a quality suit and have it altered on the spot and then ago to dinner. Either the guy is full of shit or they were shopping at Men's Wearhouse.

Yes, reviews are taking longer. I submitted one the first week in August and it was just posted last week. I think Daddy is still getting through the backlog from the shut down time earlier this summer.
