Aaahhh yes DD, good ol International Male, their models were gorgeous. Those were the 'good ol days'....I loved there catalog and actually I used to buy some of their clothes. They had a really cool store in WEHO. It had a unique, very European flare for not a lot of money. In the early days, they were inexpensive, but the quality wasn't bad for the price. They are gone now, actually swallowed up by a larger company. The company that bought them out still uses their name. If you go on line they will still come up in a search, but the company is nothing like the old one.

 

I bought some shirts from them last year and the whole transaction was a disaster. Nothing fit, and the quality was below Target. When I asked for them to replace the shirts with a correct size, they had discontinued the line altogether, and wouldn't put the credit back on my card. Months later and endless phone calls back East, I ended up eating the cost of the shirts. Oh well... everything in life changes.

Age appropriate is kinda like those guys that wear Dockers slacks with the elastic in the waistband when they reach that certain age. For me, if you are in shape, you can get away with more than if your body has gone to the dogs... However, in the underwear dept, many are European cut, which is smaller and narrower, and these just arent "comfortable". You dont need to wear Old Navy boxers for comfort, just something that "fits" and makes you feel good.
