OK, I'm really not trying to be mean here, but...do you mean "rapport"? It's been a while since I studied french but I can't for the life of me think of what "repoire" could be. It's something one builds...build repoire...is it an architectural term?

You're absolutely right. I have a cable modem, and I find it really hard to IM with someone who is using dial-up. I can only feel really close and have fun and be comfortable with other high-band users.
