ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!! In actual fact though they are pretty much closing down the whole downtown area unless you have security clearance creds. One client connected to the RNC told me it is going to be almost as bad as the green zone was in Bagdad. I am actually leaving Tampa during the RNC and heading to NOLA where all the real action is for Southern Decadence 2012!!! I was there a week before the RNC during the huge hurricane that was flooding the city. I couldn't be any more busy ... these guys would have taken it boat if it was flooded it seems ... hah!

LOL, that was funny. I kind of thought of that myself reading about the convention taking place there. I did 'time' in Tampa Bay (until I was 19) but really only advertised there for a real short amount of time when I used to have friends there. But I know over the years in the scene I dated 2 people who were escorts, had a friend who dated a escort...but that just doesn't happen out in this scene here. And you wouldn't dare catch any gay person walking the streets of Denver soliciting anything. There's a different attitude about it.

 

...I'm sure it'd be nice, but I'd prefer to be a resident than to travel to a city during that kind of event. I went to Green Bay during a Packers pre-season Game last week and I ended up having to stay 45 minutes outside the city. And forget about late-check outs and special requests and priceline bidding. Those hotels are out for maximum dollar and not letting you stay 1 minute past checkout!
