Perhaps it's time for me to come clean, in the most adult-like manner I know how, and share with all who haven't yet cottoned to it my views on Board attacks. Actually, there's just one view, and that is to have a good yok.

 

I do not take these 'attacks' seriously.

 

Perhaps if I respected those who really and truly attack others, I would. But I don't. I think somebody who seriously attacks another anonymous poster has some, shall we say, 'issues'. I have to think they're having a bit of fun. Otherwise, I'd think they're just killing time waiting to enter into confinement somewhere.

One way or t'other, I would not feel threatened. How could I take anybody seriously who thinks there's a good reason to lob grenades at somebody they don't know? We do have a great sense of humor here, and it's one thing that keeps me coming back. When someone gets out of hand, humor often diffuses it. We also know that most things blow over. What is today's controversy is forgotten tomorrow. But for those who insist on being a mean poster each day, it gets tiresome, and is no joke when it discourages people from posting. Not everyone here has balls of steel, so catty remarks can sometimes do harm- something JJ should think of when he refers to the posters here as he did: "usual Gossip-mongers and Ass-kissers slingin their shit around." How does that help anything? Lookin started this thread, and I don't think he is a gossip monger or ass kicker slinging shit.

Now Daddy, I am really not fond of Tea, and it doesnt take a mindreader to know what people are doing on this site. It doesnt even take alot of effort or ingenueity. You simply go to active members, click, and you can see what people are reading or doing..... but YOU knew that, so basically that was for BVB who implies I am guilty of some covert operation here....

Lucky, you dismiss your own behavior as lighthearted Fun, when you start threads that ridicule members such as myself. And you seem to have no problem with that, because its you, you're getting the attention you intended and you arent the subject of the ridiucle. And then you lecture on what people should "think about" before they post. I must say I have read alot of YOUR posts that really didnt "help anything" here, and in fact did some nice damage. So in the spirit of Friendship, when giving Advice, its always good to Follow ones own.! Your behavior tends to contradict your own words.
