It seems that we are quick to point out when police officers do something that we don't like, so this story in the NY Post is a way of saying that i know you do many good things too. A strong cop saved a man from certain suicide. No one said he had to. It would have been easier to let the guy go, but he didn't. Of course, then they arrested him—found out he was responsible for 37 murders, tried him and cost the state $12 million before the appeal.

 

Seriously though—perhaps one day soon he'll be grateful to have lived another day and can thank Mr. Cop.

I hope the follow-up isn't how he was on bath salts and just ate someone.
