Hey Guys

 

I am getting ready for a trip to south florida. One of the things I do is log onto the web pages for Hotspots! Magazine and Outlook Magazine - in order to read up on what's happening there. For some reason, I get a notice saying that the site is temporarily unavailable.

 

Does anyone know anything about this? Have they stopped publishing? Thanks in advance for the help!

Hotspots is the more enduring gay rag in South Florida whereas its competitors come and go. The current alternative is called 411 magazine and doesn't appear to have a website altho their e-mail is 411mag@aol.com. I think Outlook folded sometime last year, it was gone when I arrived in November. Cheers:-)

Hi CTDick,

 

Thanks very much for the info. I have downloaded the enter page, and successfully entered the 411 classified section. I downloaded the adobe software they suggest, but I can't seem to get into them, even though the page suggests you can. I even waited an hour, while having supper, to let it download.

 

Any advice?

Go to Hotspots online and choose the Florida option, then go into classifieds and you'll get all the escort ads. There are more there than in 411. moreover it's more user friendly, none of the download hassle of 411. Just click and view. Nothing could be simpler:7

As fate would have it, I finally figured out the complex downloading of adobe and just got a look at the poor quality, poor substance of 411, although I am certain that it is useful to some.

 

Thanks so very much for taking the time. I can now say with assurance, that you are right! I can't wait to get down to sourthern florida, I'm already fantasizing about the guys I see both in Hotspots and Rentboy. Should be a fun week. I will miss the State Visit of Rick & Dereck by about a week! Well, I guess you can't have everything!

Happyguy, The weather is warming up nicely now after a very cool January so your trip is well timed if this warming trend continues. About the escorts advertising in Hotspots and 411, just be careful to distinguish between the good ones and the scammers. Being South Florida we have plenty of both:7 Use the reviews on this site as a guide. Some of those who advertise with alluring pics are total ripoffs so beware. Several escorts have multiple ads with different names and different telephone numbers but are the same scam artist. One thing you will notice is that very few have web sites or even e-mail. This may be "paradise" but there are a few serpents aroundx( My advice is check it out thoroughly before taking the plunge. Good luck!:7
