Yes, BINGO came to the same conclusion as I ! You can even in squeeze 3 or 4 hours of escort "social rate" time for dinner and pre-erotic entertainment and still come out ahead. Getting paid to sleep on the clock... that's a crazy giveaway deal. Though, I would pity the poor escort that has to put up with my snoring for several hours.

When I'm traveling, I generally tell the guy that I'd like to meet around 5 pm for a drink, then go back to the hotel and "fool around" for a bit, then go out to dinner, then have a second after-dinner "round", then he can take off. That amounts to 7-8 hours, and more "bang" for the buck. Generally, the guy is glad not to spend the night, and will sometimes knock his overnight fee down a bit; though I don't mind paying the whole overnight because I've gotten more "live" time with him than during a regular 12 hour overnight that would have included sleep-time.

Sounds like a plan but can you do all that for $1,000? Let's see $400 for the escorts (for sure), $400, at least, for an airline ticket, $200 for a 4 star hotel room for 1 night, transport to/from the airport $20 up, at least one decent evening meal + breakfast, $40-75 or more with $200 left over? I think you can hold it to under $1,500 if you find a $400 airline ticket, etc. All that for one night on the beach? For another say $300 you could make it Friday-Sunday.

I did the same math and came to the same conclusion--only I think that you're low on the dinner for two with wine and/or cocktails.

How ironic—I've been suggesting to potential overnight clients that we should meet up first for an hour to check chemistry (with the actual phrase: "so you don't waste your money or time if we don't click") and the idea gets shot down 9 times out of 10.

Flight $200 (granted its not first class but SW Airlines doesn't even have first class and bags are free)

4 Star hotel $100 includes tax (thanks Priceline!! I got a great hotel that would have been $220 otherwise)

ground transportation rd trip via shuttle $30

meals - estimating $75

airport parking $7

 

Total = $787!!!

 

Even better , I am getting a chance to meet up with 2 different escorts that I have been wanting to meet instead of only one.

I'm not sure I get why the comparison brings in the traveling element. I would think the comparison would just be one escort for an overnight for $1000 vs 5 different escorts for an hour each, maybe one each day for a week.

Option 2 would be my preference. I typically hire escorts for 2 or 3 hour appointments, which on average is about $500. I'm all used up and ready for bed when the guy leaves my hotel. I almost never hire for overnights since I usually have to check-in at work early the next morning. I understand why some clients prefer the overnight experience, it's just not often practical given my schedule.

This has been mentioned often enough, and my small contribuion is that, after years of hiring guys more for overnight than for 2 hours or so, I am moving in the opposite direction.

 

My own math on the question matches down-to-business.

 

I never, ever, meet an escort at my home, and I rarely (aside from seeing a masseur) meet an escort at his place for reasons based on my past experiences (he lives in a sloppy enviornment; he has a pet who is all over the place; his bathroom has not been cleaned in weeks and no apparent clean towels for a shower before and after; he has a roomate(s); the bed linens are not quite as neat as I would like for laying around having sex on them - not knowing who else has been there before me). So for these and other reasons I prefer to control the enviornment of the encounter and meet in a neutral place, such as a nice, clean, comfortable anonymous hotel room.

 

When I am up for hiring, I quickly look to see where I can find a decent, convenient room, and places such as EXPEDIA, HOTELS.COM etc... have amazing offers if you have the patience to plow through their sites, and you do not mind a little bit of an element of surprise in that some can be even better than you planned (and sadly, a few can be a bit worse than you expected) but I usually only seek places in the 3-stars and above category, and ones that have an in-room coffee machine, fridge, possibility of room service (late), and I hit the jackpot if the hotel has a gym/pool on site.

 

The most I have paid for one of these overnight hotels is $180 (all taxes included); most however (as I generally do this in NY, Boston, CHI and DC) are in the $150 bracket, and occasionally I luck out for something even less, such as a place newly-renovated seeking new customers, or a super special deal on an odd weeknight.

 

I then move to hire a guy for 2 hours ($400) though I have found a few who give a better fee and are just as great as higher priced guys. And, like some here, I like a nice 2-hours session in the early evening, and I like morning sex, but more and more do not see why I should pay to have someone else in the bed overnight sleeping next to me -- which is really not what I consider a necessary part of the BFE (snoring? farting in bed? morning breath? - sorry, it does not work for me at my age).

 

And in many places I have collected names of great individuals who are up (in every way) for a good morning romp for an hour or so, they appear showered but not shaven (my preference at that time), and I get another romp before checking out. The only downside in this cheaper way of spending $1,000 is planning ahead with both escorts - and I usually try to completely different types to make the experience more interesting.

 

One last point - as for the meal.. I would always consider inviting both the evening guy and the morning guy for a meal after the session, but it is not something I do until the moment -- if we click, then fine, I might spring for a meal to further enjoy his company. That will affect the price for the whole overnight experience if I choose an upscale place; breakfast is usually included in the room so no big deal. In Europe I often did this, and enjoyed the wild jealous stares of waiters in hotel restaurants as they eyed what I just finished debauching -- once in Amsterdam, a really handsome Middle Eastern waiter was so obvious in his lust for my morning date, the escort suggested he come upstairs with us after breakfast for a free session (free for me, and for the waiter) -- which was some of the hottest sex I ever had.

Hiring habits do change over time. While I'm still not interested in quickies, I have transitioned to more of the multi-hour afternoon or evening appointments (have 3 scheduled this week while traveling to another locale), with fewer overnights. I think I've only done 2 overnights in the past 6 months. But I will continue to schedule an occasional weekend or vacation trip with a choice stud, probably 2 or 3 times/year. One of the reasons I'm doing fewer overnights is because my sleep patterns are changing as I age. I've always been a light sleeper, but I can have extended periods of lousy sleep, and realize that I may not be the best bud to sleep next to nor good company in the morning.

Having said that, unless you book a flight anywhere on SWA months in advance, I haven't seen a round trip fare for less than 300.00 (and that's only intrastate). I, too, jawja, am a light sleeper. It will be interesting to me to see if I sleep at all during my first overnight. If not, well, it may be my last. Adrian's plan is fascinating too. This is the forum at its best.

You bring up an excellent point that deserves an explanation. An escort came highly recommended to me in another thread on this board that I really wanted to meet. As we live in different cities, my only option was to fly there or fly him to me. If I flew him to me, I would have been looking at an overnight + travel expenses of close to $1500. As he lives in a beautiful city on the beach, thought I might fly out there instead to keep options open. I have learned (as Maxwellissmart recommends above) start with an hour with a new guy not an overnight (note that is excellent advice). I found by doing it this way, I could meet the guy I wanted to see, another guy that I have been interested in seeing, enjoy some time at a beautiful resort right on the beach, and do it all for almost half as much as it would have cost to fly him to me.
