three cheers for the new black and gold!!!:)

Although, now that I look at it again, having a banner at the top and a menubar at the left leaves us with a smaller window...and shouldn't it be "Escort Reviews," not "Escorts Reviews"? Otherwise...change is always good. :*

:-( Can't say I care for it. Takes up too much of my screen viewing space, but then again each to his own, and we will all deal with it or move on! :)

I think the use of frames results in too small a window for the reading text - especially whne you're looking at reviews & it's almost double frames. The top menu bar was a more efficient use of space. IMHO.

I personally don't like it, but then again it isn't my site. I think the look of a site is second to functionality. And the previous site was much more functional. I also don't like the stark contrast from the black and gold to the white and grey/blue. I also am not a huge fan of frames unless it works which it does on some sites not on this one.. Now I know I wasn't asked but that is my 2cents.. Not that I can't get used to it!!

HUGS, BTW who are you calling an old fogey?????? As long as you are young in mind and spirit, and the body isn't too unwilling, you are not an "old fogey". LUV YA Chuck!!! :) (Seems the emoticons are awry again)

>I like it. Black is Beautiful. ;-)

What new look - my screens are the same as they always have been? Am I goin' nutso or what?

I like it, but I also am using a wide-screen PowerBook. And since the site has always used frames, is your problem that it's using more frames than previous?

Aesthetically I think it looks much better, but it does take up more space and that is more important to me -- in case anyone were to ask :+

Well, for those of us using laptops we now have to scroll left to right so see everything which is a major pain. The screen is too small on laptops for having sidebar menus. The topbar menu was a more efficient use of space. Oh well, what's a boy to do?:-(

I have a 19" flat screen and the frames make it look cramped even on my monitor. Also, although black may be chic, the brown (gold?) lettering isn't the best choice - it doesn't "pop" against the black and it gives the site a dingy look.

I'm sure you worked real hard on it and you're proud of your efforts, so it's not pleasant to hear criticism. Although it's a good first effort, it needs to be rethought if you want it to look nice and be user friendly for smaller monitors.

Artistically yours,

Sorry, HB, but it doesn't "work" for me either.x(

Yeah, the brown/gold is cool, but...

If the primary purpose of this site is Escort Reviews, why the hell compress them into 1/3 of my viewing space?

And it's not just the review "copy", it's the reviewed escort's pic also. For example, today I had to scroll back and forth just to see part of Darrell Geier's pic (I never could view all of it).

Turn back the clock, PLEASE!!:o

If you press and hold down your shift key, then left mouse-click on the topic of interest, it will pop-up a new window without the border.

That may work if you're on a PC. I'm on a Mac.

I agree, too much of the viewing space is blotted out by the side border. I would like to see more of the escort's picture and not the border. The border colors are nice, but the border itself is too wide.

The colors are nice, although I can imagine that on some monitors people will have some trouble reading the light brown print against the black background. I generally find light print against a dark background more difficult to read than dark print against a very light background.

Also, depending on the surrounding web browser one is using, there does have to be some scrolling left and right in order to read the entire screen.

So - although it has a pleasing look, the functionality of the new design could be improved.

I like it too!! Black is my fav color (or absence thereof :+ )

Only suggestion: the double HB's M4M banner seen in the MC is a little redundant and eats screen space unnecessarily. Probably just a tuning issue as these and other pages are coordinated with the new layout?

Oh... and if you change to gold to silver, which I prefer, then you have my high school colors: black, silver and white. :+

Count me among those who don't like the new "look," functionality of the site. I think it's a step backwards, not forward . . . feels/looks very amateurish. :-)

The menu bar on the left has got to be the smallest font size in existence!! but with another inch of black blank space to the right of the words. How to attach a magnifying glass to my monitor.
