I used to watch movies fairly regularly with two clients—one watched "Pretty Woman" with me and wanted to know how accurate it was to my own situation.

I can't remember how long I laughed, but it was for a while.

My favorite by far is Mysterious Skin.

Kevin Slater

I still love the line in Romy & Michele, that references the shopping scene in Pretty Woman: "Look, they won't let her shop... like those salesgirls in Beverly Hills aren't bigger w.hores than she is."

Saw 'em both. Didn't care for Johns, and Trick has nothing to do with escorting.

LOL you're right, I meant Strapped. Such is the state of my brain at this time of the morning.

There was a fantastic mini series here in the 90's called Band Of Gold about 3 working girls in Bradford. Loved it. It was so iconic at the time and is still repeated from time to time. It was so popular it made 3 seasons

I happened to click on a movie called Sonny with James Franco, set in New Orleans. I am sure the film got its share of criticism but there is nithing to criticize about staring into the dreamy eyes and lips of James Franco playing a NOLA hustler. Very nice.

Midnight Cowboy? The Wedding Date?

I saw part of the Wedding Date, and it was so completely charmless that I quit watching. Haven't seen Midnight Cowboy, but I know the basic storyline.

As by prior advisement, "Sonny" (2002), based on the life of the New Orleans rentboy Walter P*****, is one of the best of the genre when it comes to the reality of the "Life". Ah, me! The boy was the proverbial "walkin' streak of sex". . .

I enjoyed this too - just to imagine for a while James Franco as a hustler...

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo. And let's not forget the sequel -- Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo. Rob Schneider is awesome.

This is where someone responds, "You keep using that word [awesome]. I do not think it means what you think it means." Perhaps I should've put that in the favorite quotes thread, but it's late and I'm still catching up on reading what I've missed during my travels the last few days.

Alas—the more posts you make, the less seriously I take them.

Is that because my awesome sense of humor is shining through and you realize this was a joke?
