I think this topic is in the worst possible taste. What I earn is nobody's business - how could you possibly justify your couriosity - and quite frankly I don't care to hear what you earn.

 

It leaves the door wide open for exageration and even if the larger incomes were to be reported acurately it could make those with lesser incomes feel inadequate.

I can tell you what I wish my W2 was!! But in all honesty I am very lucky to be where I am. I just hope we all strive to better ourselves and try to bring some happiness to our lives and others. For many people happiness does not directly correspond to dollars!!

Who cares about client income? I assume that all regulars on this site have serious dough or a serious problem. The real question is escort income which I am always curious about BUT which escorts always exaggerate so you never know. The one guy who I asked and believed said in NYC he pulls down about $7K a month which sounded reasonable given the fact that $400-$600 is from me and assuming he had 3 or 4 regulars like me and then the random calls. This might seem like a lot to someone in Columbus, Ohio and pocket change to those in New York. Obviously, geography plays an important role in what we all earn. The cost of living here (Los Angeles) is definitely higher than Columbus or Las Vegas and probably less than San Francisco or NYC.

I assure you that I have never tried to "bargain down" an escort, and I would never do so. I'll also say that I'm not really a tipper, either. If I pay someone $200 to $400 (depending on time), I think that's a pretty fair price. I didn't get all this dough by scattering $100 bills all over the sidewalk.

 

What I am careful to do, though, is this:

 

1. Try to put an escort's mind at ease about money, i.e., usually pay him right up front.

i agree with several other posters about the inappropriateness of discussing salaries even in a generally anonymous forum. that said, i will add another status not mentioned in the first paragraph. i chose to retire halfway through the year at age 55 with 90% of my pension. figured it was time to relax and "smell the roses" after 33 years of 12 hour days and shift work.
