I hope everybody is enjoying the holiday. I have been getting caught up on my reading here and ran across a post that gave me the idea for this thread. Like all of my posts this is for fun only .. please no wagering .

 

What mental image do you have of posters ? What really brought this home was Cooper's description of Lucky in that other thread. It was nothing as I imagined .

 

So with respect to my fellow posters and the few friends I've made in this message center here goes my imagination ... all in fun.

 

HooBoy: Well since I know and if I told you I'd lose my posting ability, and maybe a leg .

 

Deej: I think he has mentioned his age before as late forties. I feel he is white, 5'10" and 170 without facial hair.

 

Barry: Ethnic background white, maybe 6' probably 240 weight and early fifties. He has no facial hair yet a very hairy body.

 

Marc Anthony: This is a hard one for me. I believe he is in his late forties, about 5'9" and weight is about 160. At times I feel his ethnic background is Asian so I'll go with that.

 

Les: I have the feeling he is an older, white man, maybe late fifties, 6'0 and his weight is about 190. He is probably clean shaven.

 

Chuck50: Has to be white. Obviously he has mentioned he is 50, I'm going with 5'9" 250 pounds.

 

BuckyXTC: I enjoy many of his posts and have been curious as to what he looks like. My image of him is 40, 5'9" beard and stache and a little on the heavy side.

 

BoN: He writes from an older man's point of view. I will go with 54, 6' and 200 pounds. Has to be a white guy and most likely has a stache.

 

Ad rian: As with most posters here a white guy in his mid forties. I feel he is pretty bald with a stache, probably 5'8" 190.

 

fukamarine: White, early forties, very heavy set and about 5'9" in height. Maybe even some facial hair.

I've been online in technical forums for 15 years. There's a rule when you meet someone you know really well online: they never EVER look anything like what you imagined. :+

 

I'd become really close friends with one colleague. I actually got closer to her than to my own sister. We traded photos. You'd think we could pick each other out of a crowd, eh? We had to be introduced! LOL!

 

I've been through that many, many times. If I tell you I'm a dead ringer for Matthew Rush, just hold that mental image. It'll be about as accurate as anything you cook up on your own. :+

Oh Lucky Lucky Lucky my dear faraway friend. I wouldn't say "worse" I think "different" image would be better.

 

I think the tall thing through me off (unless Coop is very, very short) then maybe I was right on the mark .

 

Anyway, I kind of pictured you as Wilson from the sitcom Home Improvements. Maybe more in personality than looks. I feel as if I can hear my name being scratched off your birthday gift list so I'll stop here ... I love you Lucky, well in a non pay for play sort of way :*

Cool to hear Chuck. Now I know if this silly radio job doesn't work or I ruin my voice by trying to deep throat the twink of the evening I can always work a carnival guessing people's height and weight. Mom always suggested I have something to fall back on .

I have often wondered what a lot of the regulars look like, but as for me, you are off by two decades or so on the age, 3" on the height and 50 lbs on the weight. (I'll let you guess which way..lol) I am white, you so get a point there, but I am also regularly clean shaven.

A lot of the guys mentioned in your posts, have posted reviews here in which they have given a description of themselves, so what is the big mystery? As far as the others, I can see this post generating a whole lot of invective, hurt feelings, nasty replies and an excuse for personal attacks (e.g. the nasty conjectures so far on ad rian's looks). I don't really see any positive spin on this post and nothing personal, but I hope this thread has a very short life span.

I agree. This one is as stupid as his post asking us to reveal our salaries. Too much glue in his plum pudding, if you want my opinion.

Huey.....interesting image. I am white but I don't think half Norwegian is considered ethnic. :-) 6' (add 3") 240 (subtract 65lbs) :-( early fifties (52...right on) no facial hair (nope) very hairy body (yikes, only on legs and forearms)

 

After the pace of the holidays, this simple, no-brainer kind of thread is refreshing. Thanx
