December Details Article: Gay For Pay

Howdy,

 

I thought I'd ask the experts. My partner bought(and eventually left on the plane) the December issue of Details(Justin Timberlake on the cover)as time killer reading material. There was an article about porn actors who actually are straight & do gay vids because the pay is much higher than straight films. The author concentrated on a guy who was from Colorado, 6'2", 200lbs & is now 26 but obviously had been in films for a few years. A few pix were in the article using a fake name, "Jake" but the face was blurred, in shadow or covered by a ball cap. He said he was a top but did bottom once in a bi film(if I remember this correctly) He has a young daughter too and a wealthy dad who turned out to be a major drug dealer & went to prison.

 

Did anyone else catch this article? If so, who is he & what are his films?

I didn't read the article but have been with Jake Armstrong in Denver and Boulder before he starred in ANY vids, and my vote is that he IS GAY -- would not bet $$ on it but he's the gayest str8 guy I've ever seen if he really is only "gay for Pay."

 

He is a sweetheart however, and the history that the article and others have pointed out seems pretty accurate, so I'm sure it's he you're referring to, but "gay for pay?" I don't think so.

Not that I'm cynical or anything (well, actually I am), but I don't really buy this gay for pay shit with porn stars. I suspect that most of these guys are actually Bi; some may even "lean" towards women, but I think they are also attracted to guys to some degree.

 

IMHO, bisexuals have the advantage of CHOOSING the life style that makes them the most happy. And they can switch at will. Since I'm 100% gay, I only have a choice between two life styles: be with men or be celibate. x(

I have just read the magazine article and all I can say is who's kidding who?

 

If Armstrong thinks his girlfriend doesn't know what the score is, then he's brain dead. (That is if she read the article)

 

The article states

1) that he lives in a small town in Colorado.

2) he has a girlfriend with whom he has had a baby girl

3) his mother is a police woman

4) his father used to be wealthy but got busted for selling drugs

5) his father is now a mortgage broker

6) he has worked for his father as a jr. broker in the past and is

consideing doing it again as a full time job.

7) his first job was installing banisters

8) his gf and father knows that he sometimes works as a stripper in

gay bars

9) he mentions what kind of truck he drives - a black Chevy Blazer

and a Jeep equiped with a snorkel

10) he mentions that he has a 70" TV and a 50" one over at his

girlfrineds

11) He also mentions that he has a black leather couch with a sub-

woofer built in and two speakers in the back

12) and let's not forget the two autographed footballs from the

Broncos encased in lucite

 

WHAT MORE DOES SHE HAVE TO HEAR? He's done everything except draw a road map!

 

BUT... if that wasn't enough to clue her in, I would think that there is enough of his facial profile showing in the shot of him sitting on the kitchen counter and in the one where he is driving a truck to guarantee she would recognize him.

 

However, in spite of the above rant - I think he is extremely HOT. My type to a "T" Very "American boy-next-door" look. I'm surprised that A & F hasn't signed him to an exclusive million $$ contract.

 

I'm also surprised (and disappointed)that no one here has posted a picture of him or a URL. Come on guys - get with the program!
