I've always been somewhat dismayed by the process used for selecting coverboys but todays selection is a particular question. Why use an escort who has what appear to be jail-house tattoos and is not really good looking. Sometime the person used is not handsome of even appealing. It is obviously the moderator/owner of this site makes the selection but what influences his decisions?

Sam.fitzpatrick makes an excellent point. I believe the old saying goes “different strokes for different folks”. Now, I do not find today’s cover boy the least bit attractive. However, I am certain that there are those, who frequent this site, who aren’t in the least turned on by the shaved down muscled bodybuilders I find hot. Thank god we aren’t all turned on by the same type. If that were indeed the case it would be next to impossible for all of us to get together with the same guys. In other words Viva la Difference.

And the same thing goes when I'm putting together the galleries every day. Sure a lot of them are my types. But I purposely go out of my way to choose against my types because I know there are others who prefer different types. Sometimes I guess right, sometimes not. Pictures I think would be appreciated by everyone are sometimes not commented on while pics I'd never have chosen for myself get all the attention. I'm sure Daddy does the same thing. So no problems there with me.

 

But one thing I am curious about. A lot of the coverboys recently have been on 1st, 2nd or 3rd reviews, or so at least it seems. Yet some of the most heavily reviewed, highly regarded escorts have never been coverboy. Immediately coming to mind for me are Dave Rockin, Rod Hagen, Dane Scott, Roughscort, and even Juan Bruno, an escort of the year. Over 250 combined reviews of these men and every single one a glowing review. And they've all been in the biz for quite a few years. Is it just happenstance that none of these highly regarded guys have ever been coverboys? One difference with all except Roughscort -- none of them have face pics. Is that a requirement to be coverboy? Just wondering. Not criticizing at all. Just curious.

Yes, a face pic has been a requirement for Coverboy of the Day.

There are six possibilities today.

 

One is disqualified because he does not show his face.

 

Two more have been coverboy in the last six months so are disqualified unless there's no other choice.

 

One was Escort of the Year and gets reviewed frequently so we see a lot of him, in addition to being coverboy three previous times.

 

That leaves two "new" pictures to choose from. I'm guessing Daddy chose the picture that showed the most skin of the two.

How do I get to be CoverBoy of the day?

The cover picture is chosen from the day's reviews or new pictures. The only real requirement is that we see his eyes. The Coverboy does not represent this site and being selected does not imply an endorsement from this site. We try to select a variety of looks in coverboys. There is no charge for being the coverboy.

Thanks for the explanation, Daddy. From my point of view, you do an EXCELLENT job in the face of constant speculation. If someone is very unhappy with what you are doing, there is nothing to prevent someone from creating a competing site. But for my money, such as it is, you are doing an OUTSTANDING job. Keep up the good work.... and know that the vast majority of readers and posters here really appreciate your efforts.

Roughscort face pics

 

Only recently has Roughscort posted a face pic in his listings. When I first met him a couple of years ago. There was no face pic online. He freely emailed me one after I requested one. He told me later that he removed his face pics and asked Daddy not to post any photos with his reviews because he was having problems with a stalker who was trying to interfer in his personal non-escorting life. It appears that he has resolved that problem so he has again posted a face pic. That is probably the reason for no Coverboy selections. Maybe that will change with his next review.

Steve, even IF the guy is ugly, I will never hold a grudge against his dick, and havent found one yet that was TOO big for MY mouth (I think you know by now, I have a BIG mouth ;-)
