User ratings are back?????

The new message center has a pretty blue color that goes well with my yellow mug. But I thought it was widely agreed that user ratings were unnecessary and detrimental to the board. Why bring them back???

WOW, my first post with the new software. But, Lucky, I'm not seeing the user ratings on my screen. Hopefully they've turned off that function.

 

I sure don't envy HooBoy and Daddy. Installing new software and working out the bugs is NOT fun.

You can turn off user ratings for yourself in the User Menu. It's under preferences, I think.

 

I do agree that they should be turned back off sitewide, and I suspect once things calm down for Daddy and Hoo, they will be. They were a disaster last time.

Yep the ratings were back for about an hour. It was during the time that the new software was being setup. I surfed through some and found them pretty funny, sorry don't mean to offend anyone. They just seemed to outdated and petty ... then at times there were a few very sincere ratings. After cheking them out I'm sure glad they are gone .

Hoo and I actually discussed this for a while. Since each user can opt out of the rating whenever they wanted, we thought we'd leave it on for a while.
