I just want to post a message of gratitutde to Hooboy and all those who contribute to this resource. Reading the posts here has helped show me not only what it is really like to be an escort, but what it is to be a *good* escort. I just saw my very first client tonight, white knuckled all the way there. I wasn't a minute after I was shedding clothes that I knew that this was the path for me. I enjoyed it so much I thought I was the one who should be paying. Not guilt, no worry, just a warm glow of supersexual comfort, and joy in pleasing/cuddling/talking with my partner. If it wasn't for you guys I might still believe the hollywood claptrap. By the way, I'm an ex dot-bomber who still freelances tech for very professional rates when I find work here and there. I'll probably still do tech because I enjoy the intellectual challenge, but i can tell you where the rest of my income will be happily earned from.

Thank you all =)

Please be just as eager and excited to update us when you get a client that you are so repulsed by that you must figuratively hold you nose to get through the hour.

THAT'S the one I want to hear about!

Eagerly yours,

Christian, do you have a web site yet, then, being a techie and all? Or maybe you could post a picture here? I love long hair on some men.

Do be careful about admitting to clients just how much you are enjoying yourself. With a sizable number of them (not the majority, thankfully, and not many of the quality ones that post here) you need to look like you're only having nearly as much fun as they are. If you have the same amount of fun, or - quelle horreur - more, they will use it to argue your fee down. Oh oh, I may have just hijacked your first thread. Hope not. Guys - note I said not the type who post here and if you want to talk more about this, somebody start a thread.

That's another thing. When posting here, try to flirt twice for every once you say something serious or halfway negative.

Congratulations, newbie!!

Love, Bilbo

Do you always have your bucket of cold water standing by to pour over any unsuspecting newbie - or do you have to go all the way to the tap, turn it on, fill the bucket, walk back to your computer, then throw it all over him? Just curious.

Thanks for the advice guys, I know it's not all roses and ballons. For instance I know that there are bad clients and worse police posing as them. Hopefully will have the sixth sense to walk away from both. It helps that I am not depending on this as my sole income.

Law Enforcement is a subject that I am sure has been talked to death on here, but I wasn't able to find anything in the archives so my understanding of that danger is sketchy and is the only thing that has me worried at this point. If any of you has guidance or resources you can point out on that subject I would be *Very* much obliged.

As for having too much fun with a client, I'll keep it in mind -- although my client was a pigbottom who'se sole fantasy was to derive pleasure by pleasuring me. He remarked quite appreciativly at the end of the scene how much he felt that I really did enjoy it and wasn't just faking it. (I wasn't!) That sense of my satisfaction is what made it for him and i sensed it from the beginning.

On top of that I was nervouse about performing as an agressive top. I'm quite passionate and verstile, but when I've done D/s scenes with lovers I was the one usually getting thrown down on the bed. ;) Not anymore...

I do understand that my main focus always is in providing the pleasure for my client, and I derive a lot of enjoyment from taking care of someone like that so, I feel pretty good about this career move. Wish luck to this excited new rentboy ;)

You should hire him, FFF, so he can see what that's like.

Actually, it's from an emema bag that hangs next to my monitor.

Donnie left it here and I figured I should put it to use for something.

Informatively yours,

(BEWARE: I'm going to be throwing the "P Word" around and I know how that makes some of you fidget.)

Ah, a CAREER move, no less. When I was in high school, I don't remember "Prostitution" being one of the jobs mentioned on Career Day.

I'm curious young man why you decided to make prostitution your CAREER. Are you currently in school? Do you have another job of some sort or is this your sole form of income? Why this and not a job at Home Depot or retail?

I know I sound harsh and confrontational, but I'm really a teddy bear (with teeth) so don't be afraid young man. Please share with the class your motivation for choosing prostitution as a career and not something you can actually tell your mother you do for a living.

I'm all ears........

...........and an inviting smile.

Fiendishly yours,

Why does anyone choose to do anything in life? And who is anyone else to question their motives or their choices? Not everyone is lucky enough to find a job that makes them happy, that they can do well and for which they can get paid well. As for being able to tell Mom...since when is that a marker of a worthwhile career? And who's to say what someone else's parents would or wouldn't approve of or understand? Derek's parents don't understand his sister's career ("she does somethin' with computers"), and my cousin (who is a successful musician) still has to hear his parents say he'd be better off with an "office job."

The judgments of family, friends, and anonymous people on this message center do not matter. What matters is choosing a career that makes you happy...and the last time I checked, escorting makes others happy as well. There's a lot more to this than just sex; when done well, it involves a great deal of skill: socially, emotionally, physically. You can learn a lot, and you can teach some of your clients things they've never dreamed of.

Sounds to me like he's got the right attitude, and I wish him much luck and success. (Home Depot, huh? Hmmm...I think I'd rather keep dropping my pants than drop a 2x4 on my foot). :p

Bingo, sweet cheeks.

I was just having this discussion today with a friend. He's an escort and was a little bemused that people think less of him for it. But you know what? The most level-headed and "normal" bunch of guys I know are successful pornstars and escorts. They know where honesty really lives.

Note that this comes from a guy who used to sell it when he had abs instead of love handles. ;-)

The only reason for disparaging a career choice is jealousy. Jealousy always deserves to be ignored.

Would that be pretentious?

Bang on!

Three years ago I could never have imagined that there could be a fully responsible argument in support of escorting as a serious enterprise. In my case it was more a matter of ignorance than of prejudice, however, and now that I'm no longer ignorant I cannot find a sound argument against escorting for men who are psychologically suited to it. There are plenty of people who go into every profession, including the most highly revered ones, for screwy reasons. And do you know what? A screwy person is going to screw up, no matter what his job.

I sincerely hope that Rick Munroe will find a way to let an audience wider than the M4M guys benefit from his utterly matter-of-fact wisdom about all things sexual. He didn't come by this wisdom naturally, or easily, or suddenly. For all the light-hearted fun he provides gratuitously and generously, when he gets het up about something, we are all the beneficiaries of his mature reflection and hard work.

I suppose some readers will say that all of this is nothing but ass-kissing. That's not true, as Rick and I do not always see eye to eye. On the other hand, I don't think I've ever encountered an ass more worthy of being kissed.

He said in his original post that he's a former "dot.bomb" worker and that he continues to do freelance work of the same kind.

>Why this and not a job at Home Depot or retail?

I assume because the pay is better and the work is not quite as boring. To people who've never been involved in prostitution the advantages probably seem immediate and the risks probably seem remote, at least until they materialize.

>I know I sound harsh and confrontational

Right. But the people who always yell at you for it are just as unpleasant to others as you are, so they have no business criticizing you.

Thanks Bilbo, FFF, Rick, Franco, etc. =).

I suppose it is a career move. I'm already building the website, sorting out the logistics, and studying the details of what to do and what not to do from reviews and my own limited (1 time) experience. Is it strange to say that Like this and want to be the best that I can be? lol. I suppose what attracted me to this job after I had a picture painted by this site (and all of you) of what escorting is really like is that I realized that I embodied a lot of the traits that make a good escort.

I love wild animated sex, want sex often, have little in the way of shame or hang-ups, find something attractive and lovable about everybody (at least everybody who respect themselves and others) regardless of scene, body type, age or race. I especially love the feeling of taking care of someone, spending time, talking, being intimate. I figured that I already know how to be professional and appointment-oriented from freelancing tech for years. I was shy when I grew up and late-blossomed from my ugly duckling stage so I guess I’m attractive without being too full of myself for it. ;) That, and I'm an artist so I love the free time it gives me to create.

After I thought very carefully and realized I didn't have any hang-ups about it (nor did my current lovers) I said "This is a fucking dream job." If I won the lotto and didn't need money anymore, I think I'd still escort occasionally for fun -- though I admit I'd get picky as hell about clients. ;)

I know it's hard work, but so far it's been enjoyable, and I'm keeping my eye out for trouble. I also feel better knowing you guys are around. We all need role models and the fact that there are escorts posting here that say that they love what they do means more to me than anything else. If they didn't I'd figure I was crazy. ;)

Thanks guys. And by the way Rick, I love that ass, and Franco I want that chest :)

That's very cool. I've never thought about the impact we could have on newcummer escorts. I feel like Mary-Kate & Ashley. :)

I prefer Mad T.V.'s version of the Olsen Twins. Where they're older, and one is fatter. It was hilarious.

But I digress.

I get a weird feeling from this whole exchange which I think may even be jealousy. But above all, it seems we have a new escort with a great attitude out there. And boy, does Sacramento need one. Someone, at least! ;-)

Good luck to Christian - I hope we get to see some pics of this "late bloomer" soon. Meanwhile Christian - be safe and always play safe. The biggest dangers come not from the police. :-(

I finally have my site up. Please Y'all tell me what you think of it. I hope it comes off as professional as I want to be.

Christian,

You've got a great site. Looks like you're well on your way to establishing a new career.

I'd be interested to know when you're going to be in the Bay Area (I live near San Jose). Just send me a private message through this board. Or, you can email me at [email protected].
