Adonis belt?

I was reading an article online today (yes I read) and I didn't know those cuts in a guy's side next to his ab muscles (when he's really ripped) are called ADONIS BELTS in slang? Did you?

Yes I have seen the term used many times. Some do use the less mythologic, cum gutters.

I think "Adonis belt" was adopted because the former term* was not flattering any more.

I had a life drawing professor in college who referred to it as "the girdle of Hercules". I have also (much more recently) heard this anatomical feature referred to as a "He Vee"
