Overnight rates and actually listening to clients

excellent imput guys! This is very positive so let's keep it going. I still feel that all of our traveling and touring is also killing the overnight and especially the fly ins. I love to be flown in. That has always been a real rush for me but, alas, it is a DYING part of the business. Touring is great and wonderful and VERY PROFITABLE but if a client knows I am going to be in Atlanta 6 times a year why would he fly me in when he can wait till I get there at my own expense. That just makes sense from a business point of view.

I relate directly to what Spanker wrote. I live in a rural area which offers little or no local talent for hire. It is a drive of several hours to the nearest airport even. So, I almost exclusively resort to the occasional overnight or weekend fly-in. These have gotten more infrequent as costs have increased...airfares, hotel rates, meals at nice restaurants, escort rates. I typically will consider overnights for men flying two hours or less, otherwise feel it unfair to expect someone to travel for less than a weekend commitment. Each of these visits can be quite a financial commitment, so are considered at length as to who I hire, when, and for how long. I will normally bring back the same guy as a regular once I know we have gotten along well. If a regular is not available any longer, then I will do as much "research" and communicating as possible before making a commitment to hire. You do what you can to be as sure as possible that the meet will go well for both parties. The other alternative is for me to travel (something I do like to do), but seldom have the time to do that. I have found that rates vary a great deal depending on where gentlemen are coming from, but there has been a general increase in rates. At one time, it seemed that the rate might have been based on the amount of revenue they would forgo by not being available at their usual location for the time required, but now seems to be more generally total-time-based. I have found that the upside of such a hiring pattern is that I have a chance to really get to know these men (most of whom I have found to be remarkable people), and I get to share more of me with them...all in a less-rushed or pressured time frame. And yes, Leigh, it allows for much more "intimacy" -- which I enjoy greatly. I, for one, appreciate the availability of gentlemen willing to take on the challenge and potential rewards of the fly-in session...

overeasy..Good for you! You unfortunately are definitely not living in a "Candy Store" when it comes to the "Working Guys" BUT you make the most of your situation.

 

The other side of this would be.. Living in a Candy Store can lead to more decisions as to just who to Contact and getting to used to having your Candy when you want it at a very exspensive Price! I'm thinking you are "ahead of the game" Financially being Geographically Challenged...

I prefer hiring for an overnight or multiple night sessions. While an hourly session is fine for the moment, in my busy work schedule I prefer the longer period of compansionship that results from an overnight session.

Not to mention all the months spent in the gym so we can look our best-- wait, then there were all the years going to school so we could someday be able to carry on a dinner conversation -- and going further back, taking our first baby steps and learning to walk so that someday we could arrive at the hotel on time...so really, we're talking about an overnight equaling an entire lifetime.

I haven't tried it, but I imagine that two escorts for an overnight (say Rick and Derek) would be ideal. If one guy gets tired then he can go take his disco nap while the other one takes over.

Question; what about overnight rates for regular customers; let's say once a week, charge the same? I would hope not. I agree, not only am I providing somewhere to stay but dinner, drinks, etc and sleep which doesn't mean sex all night long just a nice refreshing evening. If you're in the area I hope rates would adjust accordingly.

You all know by now I do primarily overnights weekends and longer. Yeah I don't hire a variety of guys I have my favorites and stuck with them. I believe that reasonable rates are a necessity as financial crunches make it so and I applaud rick Mikey and Dane as well as many others for recognizing that. But I also believe the price of overnights should vary a but by activity. If I hire for a Marathon up all night fuck fest then that cost should reflect the recovery time needed the next day as compared to my more normal hire of dining a show a club and then a good night sleep. With the sexual play being merely a part. Im not advocating a pay by the pop system at all merely noting that some overnights leave an escort refreshed for the next day while others might be exhausted and need recovery time

 

Since I enjoy sleeping in a mans arms and waking him gently in the morning overnights with sleep are my choosen poison.

 

As to repeat client discounts. I believe that is between the escort and client to work out. I have been the recipient of such and can say it makes repeat hiring much more attractive
