At The Risk of Being Rude.....

I wanted to relate a short (for me), and rather inconsequesntial story about something that happeded to me today. Some fellow posters who know me when I first arrived on this forum last year will enjoy the progress that I have made since those early days.

 

Today I had an afternoon appointment with my local escort. As is usual, I went to the gym during lunch time to finish preping and get myself cleaned up. As I headed out of work to the gym, my guy texted me that he was running a little late and could I show up 20 minutes later. No problem. I decided to add a sauna to my gym time before leaving to meet the escort.

 

When I entered the sauna, there was a good looking guy (30-35 years old) seated on the other bench. He had a towel draped over his lap as he sat. I sat down on the other bench and proceeded to check him out from time to time. I noticed that his towel was moving but his hands were elsewhere. Hmmmm. Thanks for sharing. I had something very similar happen to me a few years ago when I was in Atlanta for a convention and decided to use the sauna and steam room at this very upscale hotel. I guess I was a little braver in those days. To make a long story short when we went to shower, we both left the shower curtains pulled a bit back, did a bit of teasing and then toweled off next to each other in the locker room. He invited me up to his room, and we spent a wonderful afternoon together, as well as two additional nights together! So, my only advise for next time is... "GO FOR IT"... either for the two of you, or invite him to join you and your appointment !!

We traded a number of e-mails yesterday....I am now learning the difference between having someone interested in buying the car and actually selling them the car....I learning to be a closer.....something I'm a bit new at....and keeping my fingers crossed....I realize "closing" the deal takes a bit of assertiveness...like he showed in the sauna....

This was my first thought when you mentioned the silence. If he's the real deal, and the encounter burned in his mind enough to notice your Missed Connections ad days later and answer it, then it won't take any sales effort to get him to meet.
