That giant sucking sound you heard this evening (Sun. 3/19/2011) was not coming from the Palm Springs Hooville gathering, but was actually #1 seed Pittsburgh falling to # 8 seed Butler and screwing up brackets of fans all over the place. It's the NCAA Men's basketball tournament but it feels more like what an S&M convention would feel like. Why do I let myself get drawn into this year after year?

Sorry to hear about your Pittsburgh problems. But, I'm actually enjoying the NCAA this year with the success of BYU.

I've been Jimmered (and actually think he's rather cute).

Nice and tight body, great legs and hairy pits. Really charming smile. Just wish he played for our team.

Love those Bulldogs

I didn't notice the sucking; all I heard were the sighs of relief. As I have family members who are Butler grads, Butler is my pick as national champ.Go Bulldogs!

I had Butler over Pitt too. Butler is a classic bracket buster team. I'm not doing near as well as President Obama in my picks however.

It did do a number on my brackets, but that was an ending like no other. I still can't believe that last foul. It wasn't a pretty way to win a game, but it made for a whole lot of excitement.

DUKE brothers

Boy, I am really enjoying watching Duke's Mason Plumlee. Very hot 6'10" 240.

He has an older brother on the team (Miles) 6'10", 245 seen in the pics below.

You and I (and a lot of readers) are old enough to remember when common wisdom said "all you need to win in basketball is a six-footer".

These days, a six-footer is the runt of the litter!

im smitten in jimmerland. Actually headed to NOLA for biz and going to catch the Jimmer's game there next Thurs. I wonder what the BYU honor code enforcers would say if the Jimmer were caught with his pants down. If anyone has any cute favorites left in the tournament besides the hot plumlees please post. The Butler coach interests me.

The Butler Coach, Brad Stevens, 34 and ADORABLE.

The Butler coach interests me.
He's also got an 82% winning percentage as a head coach - 114-24

Stand in line for Jimmer (and it is a very long line). Found this interesting pix on the TV station website that is owned by the Mormon Church.

Is BYU now accepting same-sex marriages???

As a proud resident of the great city of Richmond, Virgina, let me congratuate 1/8th of the sweet 16. To the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. If you both prevail in your next game, you meet. The City Title game every year will seem insignificant compared to that. You would rip the city apart.

But until then: GO RAMS!!!!!!! GO SPIDERS!!!!!!!!

Add to those attributes that he really knows how to get it up....

Notice how high off the ground #32 is?

There's been a lot of discussion about this picture today and some are claiming it's been photo-shopped.

But, I heard an interview today with the photographer. He said it has not been altered. But, the camera had a wide angle lens and was on the floor (pointed upwards) and the opposing player is leaning back. Those elements contributed to the illusion of a spectacular jump.

Hoping BYU doesn't lose tonight.

Sorry OneFinger. But personally, I'm glad they did. Anything associated with the Mormon Church, the church that funds so much of the anti-gay crusade and funded so much of prop 8 shouldn't, in my opinion, have the support of any one in the LGBT community. They are the enemy as far as I'm concerned. Sorry, but its just my opinion.

Lee, I can certainly understand your feelings. I've found many things done by the Mormon Church to be reprehensible.

But, I've known the current president of the Mormon Church for over 4 decades (close family friend). He's always treated me with respect and my lifestyle has never been an issue. I also know that since he took over the reigns there has been a significant increase in quiet outreaches to the gay community. In fact they are co-sponsoring an event at the Utah AIDS Foundation to honor local pioneers in the fight against AIDS.

I try not to stereotype groups of people. And, when it comes to sports, I have to give kudos to BYU and their accomplishments.

Well said Sir 1F. Sterotyping individuals by the groups they associate with eliminates the individuality of choice in their acceptance and/or rejection of certain specific principles of the group. I know Gay Mormons who refuse to give up either group!

All of my teams are out of the tournament. But, I vote for Butler University's 33 year-old coach, Brad Stevens, for hottest coach!
