Marat Safin, but he's out of the tournament. There was great AP photo of Safin earlier in the week falling at the net. His tennis shorts

Blake has an incredible face, but his legs are too skinny. Roddick is adorable, and Gambill looks like he should have been a male model with that perfect face and body (I know I will bring down the wrath of some, but I have always found something slightly effeminate--or maybe just prissy--about the way he moves). But the discovery of the tournament for me was Kristian Pless of Denmark, who lost to Sampras the other night--and I'm not usually into babyfaced platinum blonds. (Sampras often seems to draw stunning looking opponents, like George Bastl at Wimbledon.) Tommy Haas has never done it for me, but his compatriot Nicholas Kiefer looks like he should be the vulnerable teddybear bottom in a softcore porn movie.

Tonight's match between Andy Roddick and Alex Corretja was pure porn. Roddick won in a thrilling 3rd set tiebreak, and as each rally progressed the groaning and grunting became more intense until the climax when one player hit (or, I should say, stroked) a winner. I'm glad to see Hewitt out of it. He's an obnoxious twit (though a great tennis player). How can you go wrong with a Sampras/Agassi final? Pete needs to put some spray paint concealer for his pate, but he still does it for me.
