Don't you worry your pretty mind about my leather pictures as those will be coming soon enough. I had some taken a couple months ago but have since updated my inventory of leather items with a couple very special items. That said, once I locate a photographer here in Chicago, I intend to have another set done and they will be proudly displayed in their own gallery to show off a love for leather and a few other "kinks" about my personality which is continually evolving with each passing month.

Sorry for the delay in replying to this thread as I've been a busy body working on unpacking all the boxes I packed and determining what stays, where things will go and what will be donated to local charities here in the Chicago area and if they don't fall into any of those categories, then they're shoved down the trash shoot for their long trip down to the dumpsters in the basement of the building.

 

I want to personally thank all of you for posting such wonderful comments and suggestions about my new site as I take each of them to heart and give heavy consideration to all the suggestions. I appreciated each of your posts and the many very kind private emails that I have received. Thank you again everyone for your support and suggestions as I appreciate each of them and look forward to more as I continually update the site with new pictures and blog entries. If you see something that needs improving, kindly send me a message because I sometimes miss little details especially with my craze of moving into my new place and getting to know the area in which I now live.

 

This moving experience has been very interesting and one I intend to report on in my blog in the next few days. Interesting is an understatement to say the least but it has been quite the adventure so keep updated on my site!

Well after that brief trip into Bizarro world. I would like to add my congratulations on the site. i was disappointed that there were no more personal pictures. You know, you shirtless on the beach running with your dog, you sitting shirtless in the living room hissing at the cat, you shirtless cooking me breakfast....you get the idea.

I have additional ones from a recent trip to Santa Fe in which I was only wearing a leather jock strap in a national park that I haven't posted yet because they're on my digital camera. Though, I haven't pulled them off the chip just yet to post on my new site. Now that you have reminded me of that, I will pull the camera now and get those pictures downloaded and transferred to my Mac for upload.

 

Pictures of me cooking? Are you crazy! All you'll see in the picture is me putting out a fire naked since I can't cook if my life depended on it unless of course you like instant oat meal or scrambled eggs. But, I use a lot of butter and salt which in my personal opinion makes it all the more yummy in the tummy!

My only comment - I found the white type on black to be a bit glaring, expecially in large blocks, and a type size a point or 2 higher would be kinder on these aging eyes. But hey - definitely worth squinting for, and you know I didn't just look at the pictures

 

I heard back from my web developer after returning from dinner tonight and he is going to make the change in the morning increasing the font from 10 to 12. I hope this will help and after reviewing the site more, I agree that the text was a bit small but that's soon to be corrected.

I'm sure that will help many. Of course for those of us at an advanced age with vision that requires the Hubbell telescope be strapped to our noses, it won't make much of a difference. But that's why cutting and pasting the text into Word and then blowing it up to 20 or 22 or 24 font works so beautifully.

Yes, Rich is greater than the sum of the parts that we have all come to know and love… He is loyal, honest, and most of all sincere. He is also a gentleman… and by that I mean he is thoughtful, considerate, and polite. Still, he has a gutsy side that makes him act with courage, conviction, and passion. I and quite a few others certainly feel proud and privileged to have him as a friend.

I'm glad that you're pleased with the increased font and figured I would make it magazine text size which I'm ashamed to admit I didn't think of before AFTER a lot of research and demographics study. It's been some time since I pulled out my Marketing/Advertising books from college and I was happy to find a few of them that have long since been hidden in a mass of books which I was very much considering donating or tossing. I even found some OLD notes in there and realized just how much I used to scribble and in the margins about this, that and the other.

 

Still working on uploading more pictures that I had on a memory card of a recent past trip to Santa Fe though i didn't realize there was 46 of them so I need to go through each one, approve them and become comfortable with the fact that they're not in a studio with perfect lighting. That said, I think some more natural pictures would be good because after all, I can't have a lighting crew always following me around and nature as a background can always be nice. After all, I'm human and full of imperfections so why not show them off!?

That is certainly a wonderful idea and Boo Boo is a natural specimen when it comes to pictures assuming I toss a few treats down for him before and after picture time. He's been such an important part of my life the past 10 years and my companion through three moves in three states so he deserves a spot on the site because again, he IS my most cherished friend and companion.
