Loved the My story 101... You put beautifully into words exactly what I would hope that every encounter between an true "professional escort" and the client would be. The sharing of so much that, for many of us, we really can't share or expxlore anywhere else. I've said since day one on the boards (well that was a whole 3 weeks ago, wow) that being with an escort should be a safe place to explore yourself, express yourself, stretch yourself in ways you hadn't considered The true professional escort, to me at least, has so many roles: social worker, therapist, teacher, mentor, nurturer, healer, expedition leader, confidante. The fact that the clients bring something to the table, although it should be obvious, is really something I wouldn't have considered, at least in my own case. I realize that many if not most who hire escorts are simply doing so for the immediate sexual gratification. However, for us old birds who have had the time to reflect on our lives: where we've been, where we are, where we can be, the interaction between escort and client is far more complex than a simple anatomical act. For me, it's about learning more about me. Because "me" is the one person I cannot see rationally and clearly all the time and having a chance to explore me and learn things about me which I may have known, but have been surpressed, is just as an important part of the gratification that goes with seeing an escort.

 

It is another beautifully and thoughtfullly put together insight into you as well as what I think is the most intimate and treasured part of the client-escort relationship I'm looking to so much more.

I love that about Tyger -- male geisha. What a great quote and concept. If you haven't had a chance to watch his interview video on Rentmen its a great watch. Just for me, though, I'm old enough to want more than the 1 hour quickie. It's great and everything but I want, no, I need more. And Romann's blog so brilliantly captures that.
