+ Gar1eth Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 And the great punch line: "But yours weren't wrapped around the axle!" And the great punch line: "But yours weren't wrapped around the axle!" I didn't understand this. Thank gosh I at least understood this one otherwise I'd be very upset. Gman AdamSmith 1
AdamSmith Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) I didn't understand this. Train conductor: "Why did you pull the emergency brake?!" Man emerging from toilet room: "Because I have hemorrhoids." Conductor: "So do I!! But you don't see me pulling the emergency brake on account of it." Man: "But yours weren't wrapped around the axle." [Tedious explanation: Not only mining gross laffs from hemorrhoids but also referencing the disgusting fact that train toilets used to (some still do) open and spew directly onto the tracks when flushed.] http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/pictures/62615/do%20not%20flush%20%20SERM%202012-03-02%20003_resize.JPG Edited December 5, 2015 by AdamSmith geminibear and bigvalboy 2

Unfortunately it must be over my bald head. However, I am told that opening onto the tracks is illegal now. It has to go to a holding tank. On the other hand I've read that there really isn't anything wrong with them opening onto the tracks-sun, wind, rain, filtering through the rock on the tracks breaks wastes down naturally. Gman
AdamSmith Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I don't get all that from the joke. "All that" is just to explain how, before the era of holding tanks, it was only too easy to envision a loop of roid dangling down through the open Oh never mind. + glennnn 1

TruHart1 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Album cover fails: 1. Who doesn't like an "afternoon delight?" 2. A rather grave collection? 3. He does seem to be doing a push push after all 4. I must admit Joquina never invited me to her house to play an accordion in the nude!!! 5. Star Wars rip-off classical music cover? 6. I know it's a bit late for Movember, but... 7. What house-husband doesn't enjoy doing chores with the Somerset Strings playing in the background? + deej Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 LMAO!!! This is great! Thanks so much! Wonder how old this record is? Not Stereo but 33 1/3. Anyway, great find! My parents had this on a 78 rpm record when I was a kid, I'm pretty sure. I was learning to play clarinet and one of the required etudes was "Humoresque". Dad started snickering and when I asked him why he trotted out this oldie. AdamSmith 1
