I just finished my first year... Wow. That went fast!! For those of you who know anything about all the interesting adventures I've had since I started escorting, you have to admit: I'm not a boring read. (insert: Maniacal Laughter)

This week last July I jumped into the pool head first by traveling with Sean Knight to Florida (he picked me up at the train station in Atlanta, we made our introductions as people honked in traffic behind us, and then we hit the road). There have been some leaps and falls since last summer, but I'm a dancer (and I'm used to leaping and falling).

So, here's to a new year! I hope you are all doing well, and that you are all as happy and healthy as I am feeling right now... where's that 2003 Pinot Noir from the Marlborough region of New Zealand???

Devon,

Happy anniversary(of a sort). Perhaps your first year has been more interesting than you anticipated at the outset? Anyway, it is wonderful to hear from you in this forum. I am an avid fan of your blog. Please keep writing. By the way - IMHO the best Pinot Noir from New Zealand comes from the Central Otago region.

Congrats on 1 year! I've enjoyed having you in the blogosphere!

The BEST Pinot Noirs are in Santa Barbara County - Foley comes to mind (http://www.foleywines.com/) but you'll have to choose between:

The JA, predominately Clone 115, represents the best of "old & new world" Pinot Noir.

T-Anchor, consisting of mostly Pommard Clone, gives its character to ore refined, feminine style.

Bar Lazy S is dominated by Clone 2A and gives a very fruit forward driven, easy to drink wine.

I love them all.

Now if you'd just get that hot piece of tail out to LA, I'd take you there myself so you could try them all!

Congratulations, Devon. It's been a hell of a year for you, but you look better than ever and it sounds like you're in very good spirits. Best of luck in the coming year. I'm looking forward to seeing you when you're next in New York!!!
