Wow.

Very powerful.

Makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Everyone.....please slow down.

vids like this should be shown to all drivers once a month....required or you lose your license.....

strangely, when I last renewed my license, the expiration date became my 65th birthday (three decades away at the time)....

How many of us have been similarly distracted without paying the price that these people paid. Very harsh but real life. I witnessed a fatal car crash outside my office door. I was the first one on the scene and it took me about 2 minute before I realized there were two people not one in the car. The car was crushed so badly that one body was on top of another. One survived after being freed by the jaws of life. One minute I was sitting eating lunch, then next trying to extricate these people It takes a second to change everything.

I saw a really bad one back in 1990. it was a satruday afternoon at a very busy outlet mall. this guy and a lady companion were driving trough the parking lot toward some of the stores. the guy had a seizure hit the gas and came toward the stores killing one on the side walk going threw the front glass window of the store killing 3 more as the car finally came to a stop in the stock room. i was running the cash register in the store next door and saw it all..

Doubt it would have much impact, sadly

Much/most of this is too obviously staged or re-created, and I think that dilutes the parts that might be real. It's too much like the shock movies and YouTube videos that people have become de-sensitized to.

you're right....there are obviously staged scenes mixed in with what looks like videotape from official security, or other type, cameras.....

but the point is to drive carefully....the sad music and repetitive scenes of horrible wrecks make it strong....drivers need occasional reminders.....I feel sorry for the "random" driver that unintentionally causes a fatal wreck - because we all occasionally get distracted and any of us could be the next "random" driver

Perhaps for some or many this may be the case, but for me it was very moving and I cried while watching it (which is something that I don't do easily and haven't done in a long time). If it helps just one other person besides me to think about slowing down or being more careful, then its served a valuable purpose. Very moving and the music is so perfect.

I agree...

Perhaps I'm more cynical than usual today. I certainly wish it WOULD affect people more.

I found myself teary eyed at this video as well but that is not unusual for me, so jgoo you have a sob sister here. The one that got me was the one where the guy crashes into the back of a car stopped for a light. He gets out looks at the damage on his car and goes to talk to the woman driving the car he hit only then to see the little boy standing there and his mother a blood mess under the car.

the one that chokes me up is the girl and boy looking into each others eyes so in love. then the driver tries to miss the dog takes out that car then flips sliding into the boy and girl pinning them. killing the boy we see his parents viewing his body, the trial of the driver and we see her in flash backs in a wheel chair

There was one of these senseless accidents in LA on Sunday evening.

A crowd had gathered on a sidewalk, staring at the sky, watching the fireworks.

A car ran a red light, hit and spun a second car, the second car careened into the crowd on the sidewalk. A mother of four was killed, one of her kids critically injured, and many others were injured. They were enjoying fireworks in their neighborhood.

You hear a story like this and words just won't come.

I know way to many story's like this. Every year I was in high school someone ended up dying over summer break in some kind of car accident. I knew a guy that committed suicide after hitting and killing a child, wasn't even his fault, the child ran out in front of his truck but he couldn't live with it.. the saying most accidents happen close to home. I was less than a mile from home when it happened too me
