After all, how dare they allow the Village to deteriorate to what it has become..! ! ! ! Just because a little time has gone by is not reason to have things change. There are too many options open to the gay travelers which have not changed over the years...

1) We can still go to NYC and visit Stella's and The Gaiety..

2) We can still go to Amsterdam and visit the Why Not Club...

3) When in Ft Lauderdale, we can still have total nudity in the clubs..

4) We can still see major porn headliners at the Nob Hill in San Francisco...

5) Rio de Janeiro still has 6 saunas with garatos to choose from...

6) When visiting LA, you can still hire the great escort Bobby Thompson...

7) Benjamin Nicholas is still 26 years old..

Ok, ok.. so one of the above is still true...but hopefully you get the point.. things change.. but they can still be enjoyable...if you take them for the here and now..

The preceding rant was written with tongue planted firmly in cheek. If you do not agree with it or simply do not understand it, then might I suggest someplace else for you to plant your tongue...

:p

There is no need to boycott Montreal (I believe you mean Montreal's village).

Enough people have posted their disappointment with the changes in the village that they longer go there. They do not need any encouragement from you to stay away. They stay away because they are realistic about the negative facets thoroughly discussed over the past two months.

It seems you are a "sore looser" and cannot accept that posters expressed their disappointment about the negative changes of the village.

Put that in your tongue and chew on it until you realize that not everyone agrees with you about Montreal's village.

I watched the live feeds from Stock last night and I am considering a special trip there real soon. I've never been to Montreal, but if I could my hands on a couple of boys from Stock, the rest wouldn't matter. I am being serious here, but I do not want to invest the time or money if what I want is not realistic. To be more specific, I'd like a private with Samuel and Nicolas and don't mind paying top rates for them. Any suggestions?

My favorite from the site however was Jake who was in the Portfolio and not on the live feeds or anywhere else on the site.

Good for you. It is refreshing to read a realistic post about Montreal's village.

You have no comparison point to the old Montreal village of yesteryear. Therefore, you will probably have a good time on your first visit. It is when you knew the village as it was in the past is when disappointment sets in for many former frequent visitors to the village.

I hope that you know that not all the guys you see on Stock's site are available for private off premises meetings. Many are but just as many or more are not available.

If you have your heart set on a particular guy, maybe someone out here could let you know if the guy is available for privates.

I wish you a great first-time visit to Montreal's village.

Newatthis.. I guess I should have said, when in the Ft Lauderdale area.. since technically Cupids was in WPB, not Ft Lauderdale..

Mvan..The point was that the whole world is changing. People can choose whether they want to live life full of disappointment because things are not like they were "back in the day", or they can appreciate things for what they are today.. probably more expensive and different from before, but it can still be enjoyed for what it is.

Oh, good! What would we all do without your insight your extra persona and your wisdom (aka, Pollyanna and denial)?

For a 'newbie', you are awfully informed...

I suspect he is not a "newbie" but instead is a long-time poster who created a secondary persona attempting to bait those who expressed their opinions about the negative changes in Montreal's village.

If he feels good about doing this, good for him.

Hmmm. I am not a newby in terms of hiring escorts or going to stripclubs (I was a frequent patron of Swinging Richard's when I lived in ATL and went to the Gaiety in NYC in the last few years it was opened).I also am not new to reading the reviews of the escorts, bur have never put in a review nor posted in this forum.

I am, however, new to the stripclub scene in Montreal. I had heard that there were breathtaking young men at the clubs in Montreal, so I came across some of the threads and read them to decide whether it was worth my pursuing. In one of the post I liked the suggestion of seeing what you are buying before you buy it, so I took that posters advice and got a trial membership for the Stock website and lie feeds.

I have no opinion whatsoever about the Village or Montreal, since I truly have never been there. I suppose I should have started a new thread.

From seeing other posts on other topics, I thought this would be a good idea so i can get some insight into seeking out some of those hot boys, but instead I get accused of being someone else.

So, if anyone would like to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. My wishlist from Stock would ne in this order:

1. Jake

2. Samuel

3. Criss

4. Taylor

5. Nicolas

6. Kyle

If I were to go to Montreal and was able to get some good private time with at least two from that list, it will be worthth it to me and would justify my time and cost.

THIS IS A REAL PERSON ASKING FOR HELP AND NOT SOME DUPLICATE TRYING TO WIN AN ARGUMENT IN A POST!!!!!

Sorry for being a doubting Thomas. However, there are so many people on this site who think it is fun to bait well intended posters. Taking you at your word, I apologize for expressing scepticism of you.

Since you have never been to Montreal’s village, you have no reference point to compare the bad with the good. That is a favorable position to have. It is less likely you will be disappointed because you do not have the experience of what once was.

If you travel to Montreal and visit the village and go to either Campus or Stock you have a fairly good chance of having a good time. Of course, it is possible that those places could be void of interesting guys. It is just a chance you will have to take. This is what happened to me and my friends last May. We found the streets filled with homeless people and the bars filled with uninteresting dancers.

When I and my friends went to Montreal in May, we had a wonderful time in the city sightseeing. Montreal is a beautiful city. However, we did not go to Montreal for the purpose of sightseeing. We went there mainly for the village.

We were so disappointed at what happened to the village. We wrote about our disappointment on this site.

We did not realize that there are other posters who have a financial stake in Montreal who felt threatened (financially) due to our negative comments about the village. Consequently, we were attacked by unrealistic and childish individuals who refused to acknowledge that the village chanced for the worse.

Some posted denials and others posted childish comics that caused me to realize the shallowness of those posters.

Be it as it may, I hope you have a great time on your first trip to Montreal and its village.

Thanks for the clarification. You had me panting...although I have to say, I'm perfectly happy at Johnny's as it currently is, with its closed lap dance booths and no full nudity on stage.

Frankmon, Dont let a few people change your mind about Montreals Village.

I just spent the July 4th weekend there and had a great time.

The Village is packed with people from all over the world and the clubs are doing well. There is an art show with dozens of booths taking up the entire street.

The Strip Clubs were busy (Stock and Campus) everynight I was there.

All of the dancers at the clubs were great.

I went to Unity and Parking and had a blast.

Go and enjoy yourself.

I think OP makes a very good point (even if he is very sarcastic)!

Montreal isn't what it used to be but given the diminished options in NYC, FL, SF and Amsterdam (I'm not familiar with the others) its still one of the best place in the world for fun with naked hotties!

If you're into older muscle guys then Montreal strip clubs may be of interest, however, twinklovers will be disappointed.

That was the consensus when discussed at length on the other site.

What's the other site?

I didn't read this thread at first because I assumed a certain troll created another alias. lol

Brilliant post. :)

I would add:

8) You can go to Prague and enjoy a Bel Ami star for the equivalent of $50 for the night!

Montreal is still a solid #2 behind Prague for me in terms of fun cities to get naughty in. As with all of 'em, it's hit or miss depending on what weekend you go. When time travel is perfected, I'll be first in line to buy a DeLorean. Until then, deal with the present and reality! :) Because chances are in 10 years, we'll be saying remember how much better it was in 2013 when these clubs still existed!

I seriously think the internet will continue to do its damage to these places. Prague, Montreal and Fort Lauderdale are all great examples. A guy can spend night after night approaching old guy after old guy, getting shot down half the time, in hopes of making $100 for the night... pay house fees, pay for his alcohol sometimes, pay for dancing attire, give up his weekend nights with friends. OR he can create a profile and efficiently make $200 in an hour. It's a no brainer. The only guys who work the clubs are generally the ones who HAVE to. I still love the enviornment though... so even though the scenes have gone downhill, they still exist. For now. And for now, I'll enjoy!

Again, brilliant take!

Last time I checked EZ was returning home.

Plus, I think it's funny how someone who lives on this website virtually every single day has the audacity to call others a "troll."

Look in the mirror for God sakes. Just because the facts proved you wrong, both on this site and the other site, don't kill the messenger.

Grow up!

Again, brilliant take!

Dude , are you seriously forgetting to take your anti-psychotic medication? I wonder what FIRECAT would have to say about Montreal after he LIVED THERE FOR 8 FREAKING YEARS !!!! and MOVED AWAY!!! because the scene was non-existent for twink lovers and Taboo sucked the big one! HELLO!!!

You were annihilated on the other site regarding this topic, and yet you just continue to make yourself a fool on this site attempting to perpetuate a myth that there are "tons of twinks" at taboo and in Montreal.

You've gone on several other review sites posting similar falsehoods as to how "great" the scene is in Montreal, and how "great" Taboo's come-back is, in your desperate failed attempt to convince people to waste their hard-earned money and see for themselves how horrible it truly is.

Do you honestly just ignore people who have LIVED IN MONTREAL for 8 years, or who have spent 8-days recently in Montreal? 8 YEARS!!!

You have yet to name one skinny, white, blond-haired ,blue-eyed, American/Canadian twink 18-19 during your "successful" visit? You like to cherry-pick events in order to facilitate your world-class propaganda.

There are "tons of twinks" yet you cant name a single one after all this banter the last month. You seriously need to get your head checked man. I'm worried about you.
