HAHA! While reviewing the link Buster quickly came out of his 12 hour daily nap with his ears perked and tail pointing straight up followed by a cautious tour of my place looking for where the barking dogs were coming from.

Though the four of us are quite content, this reminds me of when I had 7 dogs and you never knew what foolishness would ensue. The dogs are very cute.

A Tribute to Muggsy

 

Without Muggsy, I don't know how I would have gotten through the screaming and violence that went on around me when I was a kid. It visibly upset her and shook her and she looked to me to make it go away. Comforting her distracted me and I could tune out everything. It wasn't all the time by any means, but it was often enough that I fell asleep listening to my parents tearing each other apart. My first waking thought in the morning was her. Just seeing her in my bedroom with me, I knew we would get through another day. She was my best friend, my anchor and my family.

Sounds like you and Muggsy were lucky to find each other. i hope you have a canine companion in your life now. If you don't consider a rescue, millions of dogs out there waiting for someone to say yes to them.
