Here's an absoultely hysterical clip of Rue McClanahan and Betty White sharing dirty jokes on the Golden Girls set. They are on the sofa whispering to each other as the crew sets for the next take. The sound is a bit low so listen closely. Well worth it.

No luck on the hunchback joke. It is funny to hear them talk about their co-workers Bea and Conrad. Sounds like another day at the office!

After a bit of Googling, the joke isn't at all politically correct but very funny, if one has read The Hunchback of Notre Dame and recalls that Quasimodo's beloved La Esmeralda was hanged and tossed into a grave where, several years later, her remains are found with the skeleton of the bereaved hunchback wrapped lovingly around her.

 

Betty White's joke, which she says Bea Arthur reminded her about, is about a guy who invites a hunchbacked girl to dinner, and his great disappointment when she calls at the last minute to cancel. Sez he:

 

You can't! I've got the wine, I've got the hole dug and everything!

i was simpler thinking about that joke. He needed to dig the hole to put her hump in so that she could recline for missionary position.
