I asked him if he bought it at the famed Leatherman in NYC and he responded by saying that due to the size of his 52 inch chest and 20 inch arms he could not buy off the rack, but had to have everything custom made...

 

Now Rich, I would assume that you have the same exact problem... so if you think it would help solve your dilemma I possibly would be able to find the name of his leather couturier...

I do appreciate the offer. My latest problem is finding chaps with one leg wider than the other to accomodate my club foot. No easy task. Plus i think my measurements are similar to the bodybuilder you mentioned....I have a 20 inch chest and a 52 inch waist. :rolleyes:

Yes, there definitely is something about the color black... but years ago I was flogged with a brown leather cat... and I really don't recall the type of leather from which it was made. Needless to say, it still had "the touch the feel of leather" if not quite the right "look".

Well, I was planning to work that into the agenda... but someone is going to have to bring some ammonium carbonate based smelling salts... the kind that were used to revive women in Victorian times... or in Rich's case athletes who need that extra push… Something tells me that he might not quite survive the overwhelming nature of all that leather in one place at one time when we get him down to the lower level… and I can’t quite imagine having to carry his 52 inch waist up the spiral staircase that leads back to the ground level…

I used to have a pair of brown western chaps, a black English riding helmet, and a black English style riding crop from my horseback riding days… as I went “both ways” in that regard. Unfortunately all disappeared from my garage a while back… as I recently posted in another thread. I was particularly distraught over the loss of the riding crop… as that is the article that would have best made the transition to the BDSM scene… which ultimately became my new hobby. I still hope that is is hidden somewhere in the rafters of my garage... every year at this time I do some spring cleaning and anticipate finding it... perhaps that might be a project for this weekend.

Well it is a rainy day where I am and I scoured the garage... well at least a preliminary perusal of all the junk I have collected in the last year or so and did not come across the riding crop. However, I did find a number of old and somewhat rusty chains hanging around... not sure where they originally came from... but God only knows. I decided to toss them out along with a lot of other useless items... However, I did find a bit of marine chain from my boating days... and that is in pretty decent shape and especially if cleaned up a bit. Now that is the type that is used for major ass play... and that is emphatically not my thing... but as they say one man's trash is another man's treasure!

 

At any rate, enough for today... I will be saving the rest for another rainy day... and it is supposed to rain tomorrow...
