Well it is a rainy day where I am and I scoured the garage... well at least a preliminary perusal of all the junk I have collected in the last year or so and did not come across the riding crop. However, I did find a number of old and somewhat rusty chains hanging around... not sure where they originally came from... but God only knows. I decided to toss them out along with a lot of other useless items... However, I did find a bit of marine chain from my boating days... and that is in pretty decent shape and especially if cleaned up a bit. Now that is the type that is used for major ass play... and that is emphatically not my thing... but as they say one man's trash is another man's treasure!

 

At any rate, enough for today... I will be saving the rest for another rainy day... and it is supposed to rain tomorrow...

 

LOL. Ok how funny helping with cleaning here. Could not find my old chaps. But I found my black leather wrapped English crop. Though the wrist strap has seen better days. At least the brass tipped handle polished up nicely.

Well when first learning and the instructor said, "Drop you stirrups", I would be reeling in pain and I would look around and for some reason all the women in the class had smiles on their faces. Of course these were in my pre-"whipped guy" days when I had not yet learned to appreciate the pleasures of CBT!

I guess I was Always more the driver. I have a much stronger seat leaning forward. Firmly grasping the neck. Squeezing him tightly with my legs and just going for the ride of your life. I've never been the sit back and hang on type. I like a certain feel of control.

Yes, it is amazing how simply squeezing with your legs can make 'em do exactly what you want...

 

Tomcat, did you ever read Centered Riding by Sally Swift? It discusses how to get the horse to be comfortable and do exactly what you want him to do by making sure that the horse and the person taking him for the ride are working in tandem as one. For example, when cantering it is important to "drop your thighs, keep your knees low and feet light in the stirrups" and also "let your hip joints open and close freely". Such a position will improve the horse's performance...

 

The book inspired other books such as Centered Skiing… I wonder if there is also a sequel titled Centered Sex?

 

In any event, perhaps you know of a book that describes how someone who is taking a person that is horse-hung for a ride can get him to do exactly as you would want so as to improve his performance so you can experience that "ride of your life"?

 

PS: … of course I know your response will be… “Romann wrote the book… even though it has not been officially published as of yet… “.
