Ok so I told my son mom and dad are divorcing and he is pissed at me. Told him ill be moving out in a couple months finances say longer but... so he is more pissed. So tonight my daughter says dad move to NYC.

My son echoes this with....You know im still mad but if your going to move and we are gonna visit. Move to NYC... at least it would be fun visiting you on weekends. And not those big midtown buildings. I like the village and Soho. Its artsy and fun

Me too kid.

So

1 my daughter

2 my son

3 that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

After yesterday. A good day today. Thanks Leigh for all the banter. You really helped remind me I was never alone.

Leigh did absolutely nothing. I was just there to hold up the mirror so you could see for yourself what needed to be seen. It was all you and your focus on your kids. And how well you handled what must have been a difficult weekend.

Today, I'm going to break the rules because I have 4 or 5 things to be thankful for today and I don't care if I have to break the rules to do it.

1. I am eternally grateful to the Community Kitchen/Food Banks/Meals on Wheels organizations who help so many of our fellow citizens. Without them, many in our communities would suffer from hunger and malnutiriton.

2. I am equally thankful the many men and women who devote their lives and souls to these organizations, both the professionals who run them and the volunteers who donate many horus a week to these necessary organizations.

3. I am thrilled to work for an employer who not only encourages their employees to volunteer in the community, but they providde paid time off each year for the employees to do it. And then put some of the employee's annual bonuses at risk if not enough of the employees utilize the time provided to do that volunteer work. And that is only during working hours. Their support of various community and social service agencies in the many communities my company is also critical.

4. I am also thrilled to work for the same company that has quietly, with little to no fanfare, provides full benefits for partners of unmarried workeres, especially in the LGBT community. And I am also proud they have a very clear and zero-tolerance policy prohibiting discrimination against people not only in the usual protected classes, but also discrimination based on sexual orientation. For an organization filled with nerds, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in the South, their example to others is wonderful.

5. Lastly and most importantly, I am thankful for friends who love you enough to bitchslap you in the face while they are kicking your ass from here to Cleveland and back because you need it. The fact that they are not afraid to call you out when you are acting like a jackass and deserve it completely. That is true friendship. That is true brotherly love. And the debt I owe these friends when they do that for me can never be repaid. All I can do is return the favor when they need the same thing.

Well, every once in a while, a friend just needs to give you a good swift kick in the ass (wearing steel-toed boots) to remind you of how lucky and fortunate you are. And a great friend did that for me yesterday and today. And a group of our office volunteered at the community food bank today and it brought it all home how lucky I am. And how I do have a lot to be thankful for.

There is a theme here today. I am truly blessed to have some guys willing to pick me up when I can;t.

1. Having friends that you don't like very much, at times.

2. Having friends who do what you need not what you want.

3. Having friends who go through this over and over ond ever again and never mention it.

1. Play date off again, on again for tomorrow.

2. Boston is beginning to see some quality escorts.

3. Time to start thinking about who rocked my world in 2010. Pleasant reflections.

1. A freshly waxed nose....don't knock it until you've tried it!

2. The anticipation of hunkering down this winter somewhere in the NE with a nice fire and enjoying the heat of it on my naked buns while kissing softly as the fire crackles.

3. Sleeping with the windows flung open to enjoy the chill of the night air....no peeking!

I hate to even ask how or what they wax on (or is it in) your nose? Now, I've freaked out my stylist many years ago when, thanks to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, I got the bright idea of having my head waxed when I get what's left of the hair trimmed (that's a 30 second job). And you know what -- it beats shaving. And there are virtually no nerve endings in your head so it doesn't hurt at all. Not like other places that are more common to be waxed.

But the nose?

I wouldn't mind trying this. I normally cut mine about every 2 weeks with a tiny pr of sissors.

Waxing the nose hairs sounds painful to me. I'll stick with my head wax where there is no pain, thank you very much.

Gee, whiny, little New England baby. You can't handle 100+ inches of snow??? Try spending your 4 months on top of Mt. Washington. Now they have a right to complain.

:) :) :)

"The temperature in Boston is 18 degrees. In Hartford it's 20 degrees. And at Mt. Washington, it's -40 with a wind chill of -80".

Although being snowed in for 4 months with Brandon on top of Mt. Washington doesn't sound too bad, does it???

Is Washington hung? Oh, Jesus, I read that wrong. As long as someone...or a few individuals...are around to keep me warm, I'm game.

Well gentlemen, it's the weekend. Time to let my hair down (1 second later) and give thanks to the three things that I think everyone here can probably agree that we need to be thankful for more than anything else, because without these three, none of us would be here on these forums:

1. Cocks

2. Mouths

3. Asses

Without those 3, why bother being here?

Sorry, but sometimes you just need to keep it as simple as you can. And that's about the lowest common denominator for all of us.

I think!
