Anderson Cooper and his boyfriend, 36-year-old Benjamin Maisani, have been seen out in public more and more these days. Anderson and Ben have been photographed biking together in NYC on numerous occasions. They also have vacationed together in India and Paris in recent months. Ben was AC's date for Vanity Fair's Oscar party last month here in L.A.

 

Ben is co-owner of a gay bar called ‘Eastern Bloc.’ The business has been a success since it opened in 2005, with a great deal of traffic from ‘gay hipsters.’

 

Benjamin spends a substantial amount of time working out at the David Barton Gym. He is a Paris native and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Those who’ve met Ben at his bar report he is friendly, compassionate and smart—something I don’t doubt about a guy who is intimate with ‘AC.’

 

While Andy is NOT officially out-of-the-closet and Ben is very publicly gay, these two still seem like perfect partners (imho). Anderson’s straight-laced, no-nonsense demeanor surely balances Ben’s edgy party-boy persona.

who knows whether Anderson will come out publicly, I'm not really expecting it while he's still at CNN, but it's still nice to just see him out there with his guy enjoying life off-air. reporting on life and living it are two entirely different things, and now it would appear AC wishes to do both more fully if possible.

The CNN anchor's new 8,240 square feet home at 84 West Third Street between Sullivan and Thompson Streets — which he purchased in September — boasts "its original spiral staircases, brass fire poles, overhead beams used to dry hoses and walls covered with murals marking the fire patrol's history" as well as a "bust of Mercury, the Roman god of speed, atop the firehouse's main door."

I will chime in on the marriage thing and say this...

 

Friends of mine did just get married in Canada. They know of a lawyer who brought a case before a NYC judge where, long story short, the judge basically acknowledged a lesbians couples marriage in Canada as binding in NY - and thus their lawyer friend thought that they might someday be able to use that case as precedent -- I don't know about law stuff , but just throw that out there...

Canadians are nice people, but no human (as opposed to muskoxen) actually prefers to live there. I've known massive numbers of Canadians with green cards, and none wants to go back. Although human intelligence has made it possible for our species to make this otherwise uninhabitable area fit for human habitation, our species did not evolve to prefer such a climate... Anderson Cooper and his longtime boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani, have called it quits, Page Six has confirmed.

 

“Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago,” Cooper, 50, said in a statement Thursday. “We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.”

 

The Daily Mail reports that Cooper has been getting cozy with a 33-year-old Dallas doctor named Victor Lopez since splitting from Maisani.

 

The site adds that Cooper has flown down to Dallas no fewer than five times since December to see the doctor. The pair have even appeared together in photos celebrating Mardi Gras and lounging in hotel rooms.

 

Lopez’s Instagram account has since gone private.

 

Despite splitting, the CNN host and Maisani were photographed this week leaving their Greenwich Village home.

 

Architectural Digest also photographed the couple at their shared Trancoso, Brazil, compound back in 2016. They discovered the trendy town while on vacation some years ago.

 

A request for additional details wasn’t immediately returned.
