A year of so ago, I'd planned a trip to the Mainland but changed "me" mind after a while. In my planning stages, I checked this site, and on it were escort listings for Hong Kong as well as areas in Mainland China itself! This would be a start anyway!

You do not say what you are looking for in an escort.

 

I have traveled many times to Hong Kong up until last year.

 

My last trip was wonderful in that I was able to do the things with friends that I planned to do. However, the escort scene and the open gay areas appear to have dried up.

 

Where one could once find escort type bars and restaurants and gay areas in Kowloon, those places are now gone.

 

On the Hong Kong side it is a similar situation.

 

You might be able to connect with someone based on the recommendation that you contact rentboy.com but that might be difficult given the language barrier unless you speak Chinese.

 

In short, I found that the gay scene in China was not open as it is in many countries. This may be why I think you might have a difficult time finding what you seek.

I instinctively agreed Lucky but just for curiosity sake, I checked RentBoy and there are now over 1,200 escorts advertising on that site from China over half of whom are listed in Hong Kong.

 

I think I may have to arrange a "stop over" on my next Asian trip.

Well this enigma may be answered but the following recent post to the logbook on the MuscleService website:

Hong Kong can be tricky. I agree that RB is useless. I have use a gentleman I only know as James and have only talked to him on the phone. He has arranged for escorts to meet me at my hotel in Shanghai and Hong Kong. He has a large stable so if you give him a few days notice he will find what you like.
