Since I posted this serious question I've been trying to answer it myself. All I can think of is the phrase whalers used to use "thar she blows" refering of course to the water that shoots up from a whales blow hole. Hmmm, blow hole, that's pretty sexy. There must be a scientific name for it but I'm too lazy to look it up. Anyway, I've decided the term "blow job" must have come into common usage with sailors when there weren't any whales around to kill. You know, a bunch of horny guys, out at sea for months, sitting around the poop deck, playing with their harpoons. Suddenly, one of them stands up, unbuttons those cute, tight white sailor pants and says "shiver me timbers (or something nautical) who wants to suck my dick?" Another sailor, wearing one of those cute shirts with the black and white horizontal stripes (that you should never wear if you need to drop a few pounds) jumps up, and says "Yo ho ho (or something nautical) I'll do it, and we can call it a blow job". I suspect you put "blow" in quotes in the title, and the software stops writing the title when it gets to the first quotation mark. It's happened several times before, and we sometimes get some odd titles as a result!
