Bill Clinton Hospitalized With Heart Problem

Just in time for Valentines Day, former President Bill Clinton has shown his heart to surgeons, who installed new stints to block an obstructed one in emergency surgery today in New York. Clinton is the author of the famous Don't Ask, Don't Tell military policy. Maybe it was the release of polls today showing that 7 of ten Americans think that gays and lesbians should be allowed to serve in the military that set off Clinton's heart, but only six of ten wanted them to serve openly...(they must have counted merlin2!)

Rachel Maddow tweeted that she wondered how "heterosexual" or "homo sapiens" would have polled.

 

it's an interesting thought. Seems Americans don't much care about gays or lesbians. It's just the damn homos they object to.

Get Well Mr. President

 

I wish President Clinton a speedy recovery. He is an intelligent and caring man who has been such a positive force in the world. May he return with greater vigor. This country needs his statesmanship.

I said it in 2004 when President Clinton had his by-pass surgery and I'll say it again "Slow down!" This guy is doing too much for someone with serious heart disease. This attitude that he can return to work on Monday and act as if nothing happened is just crazy. I don't know who Clinton is listening to but at least he should listen to his own body. It will never lie to you!

 

I like Clinton and think he is a truly engaging guy. But a dead Clinton will not be a very happy situation. He really has to start to pace himself. He doesn't need to prove anything anymore.
