Hey Alan, Good question. Smooth balls are awesome! You don't get all sweaty and smelly down there. Just take a hot shower, gel up and use a razor--that's how I do it. I wouldn't dream of doing it without warm water which softens your hairs and firms up your skin.

If we're talking about preference, mine is that my partner is NOT shaved. Trimmed is ok, even almost burred. But bare just looks pre-adolescent to me and is a big turn-off. It could even stop me from hiring someone. Again, just my preference.

I don't like hair either. back in 98 I started shaving all of my body hair off except for a small patch of pubes that i just trim down to a small patch.

I shave the balls and around the base with a razor. I trim the pubes with electric clippers and a 1 or 2 guard, normally a 2 guard
