HIV-positive. If you have any doubt as to whether that's the meaning in this ad,

consider also that for safe sex, he says "Never Safe".

 

There are several possible reasons for saying "poz" rather than simply "HIV+".

Sometimes it is chosen for its connotations (e.g., also suggesting a positive outlook).

What does the second sentence mean? is it talking about his attitude? his outlook on life? How would you interpret this?

 

Drew is clearly stating his HIV Status.. He is POZ I have seen this MANY times browsing personal ads, it is very common. However, Respectable gentlemen like Drew Peters, who openly share their status in an escort ad, where he stands to lose business as a result of his honesty, are NOT so common.. Drew, in my book, should be held in high regard and given due respect.. There are many who could and should follow his example, but they don't and have no plans to.. ;) Way To GO Drew!!

I agree we must respect his honesty. I also notice an increasing number of ads which say "sometimes safe", which, I assume, has the same meaning and intent, although it also indicates a willingness to bareback.

I don't understand this sentence. You fucked Josh, so he might be positive? Did you fuck him raw, are you positive? Is that what you are saying?

 

You wonder if he escorts bareback. So maybe he did not with you. That makes me wonder why you speculate that he is positive. Are you just throwing this out to see where it lands, or is there some factual basis for the statement?

 

Or are you wondering "if escorts bareback?" Well, we know that some do. What does this have to do with Josh Weston?

so far as I know Josh has retired from escorting and adult videos too for that matter. I think the source of the speculation on Josh's HIV status goes back to the first sentence-he did porn videos for SX video which only does bareback videos. Both Drew and Jeff Palmer, both known to be positive, also work(ed) for SX. I think there is the feeling that only HIV positive guys are doing these bareback videos- whether that is actually the case or not I have no way of knowing. There is a thread on Muscle Service asking what became of Josh; last I knew he moved back to SFO after spending about a year in NYC; soon after he dropped out of sight. He really was a super hot guy, but from reading some of his blog and having some dealings with him, suspect some issues too.

To clear the matter up:

WHen I fucked Josh Weston in SF, it was safe sex. The fact that he now does bareback movies, as does Drew Peters, I HOPE he isn't HIV positive. I don't know if he's positive or not, but in either case, I hope he's okay. He was great guy with a beautiful body and great personality. It seems sad to me that he barebacks on film,given the risks.

I have read that sentence three times and I am still trying to figure out what he was trying to say. And I don't feel I am duplicitous....nor am I a lawyer.

 

Just my two cents worth.

 

 

The segue into Josh Weston did not include the fact that he barebacks in movies. Had I known that, I might have understood the post diferrently.
