Punished Unfairly? Rightfully? Poster Leaves Exile Keeps On Writing

Thanks to all that contacted me during my recent vacation from the site. I would also like to thank the many that posted appreciative and supportive notes in various threads. Sitting in my office at home, or at work and adding a line or two to this site has become a pleasure to which I look forward each day. Many of the posters here add a splash of red or a dash of bold yellow to the days of my life which are more gray and blue than I would like. To those posters, I say a special thanks.

 

I would like to clarify just a few things which were stated or implied in some of the posts regarding the particular event that lead to my absence.

As most know, there was a thread created to point out that a well know escort had been arrested. The escort's name was not mentioned in the thread, rather one was led to other sites and speculation grew. Those in the know flaunted their knowledge. Those not familar with the situation asked who was the subject of this thread.

In a series of responses to one question asking for the escorts identity, I not too subtly encrypted the escort in question's escort name. No other reference was made to the escort nor to anything about him or his situation. The posts themselves were not negative about the escort. My actions, adjudged to be inappropriate, were generated by a thread which pointed the finger of accusation at an escort kept anonymous which gave rise to speculation as to his identity and really painted all escorts with a brush of suspicion. I thought the thread was divisive. I was not trying to be humorous as Daddy suggested in one of his posts. I was not trying to be particularly clever as a poster suggested to me in a private note. With the posts, I was hoping either to end the speculation or to get the thread removed. It is readily apparent that there were better ways of doing this.

 

Soon I was contacted by Deej about a one point demerit, related to the posts being inappropriate, possibly as a result of another poster's complaint, I went back and edited one post, removing the offending part. Soon after doing that, I was given the 7 day suspension in the naughty chair by Daddy.

 

I am glad the thread was removed. It was divisive, as was the aftermath that I helped to foster. I believe from the moderators perspective that my removal from the site was fair. I wish they had asked my about my motivation before my exile. In this particular fiefdom, though one lives under the rules set forth within. There is no trial of ones peers.

 

I missed this site while I was away and would miss it were the moderators to end it. I am glad they do the job they do, which allows for the entertaining, informative, emotional and at times exhilarating interactions on this site.

There was a time, once, when I spent far too much time at Hooville. It was the first thing I looked at when signing on in the morning and often the last site before signing off at night. Finally, I decided that I needed to take a break and did so. Thus began a number of longer and longer periods away from Hooville.

 

Taking these breaks has allowed me to let go of all of the emotion that I used to feel concerning the original site. I feel that's healthy but find that dipping my toe in the water from time to time is a nice reminder of a time gone by when HB's Message Center was a veritable hotbed of activity.

Welcome back. In my opinion, Daddy made a mistake.

We all make mistakes here from time to time, myself included.

But hopefully the person's history of contributions can

It is not my opinion that you overreacted. I didn't know of any bad history of encoding but then again there is nothing new under the sun.
