Excuse me if I'm the only one who's ignorant, but I'd be grateful to know two things. First, when we vote for "Cover Boy of the Month," are we voting for our favorite picture, our favorite escort, our favorite "type," or what? Perhaps it doesn't matter. Second, isn't it technically possible for the same person to vote again and again for the same Cover Boy? This inquiring mind wants to know.

But yes, it's quite well set up. You must give an e-mail address to vote, and you must reply to the e-mail they send you after voting for your vote to get counted.

 

It can still be spoofed, but it's gonna take a huge effort. Anyone that wants it THAT badly deserves it. ;-)

Will, as in Escort of the Year, everyone is voting their preference. What criteria are used to establish that this an individual call.

I agree about Talvin's newsletter. Last month's voting was a farce

due to his newsletter. I am actually surprised there still is a

Cover Boy of the Month contest after what happened during the last voting. Since Talvin himself is not involved this month, perhaps his

newletter will not be a factor. I would have cancelled the whole bloody contest.

I can't remember when this event, so to speak, started, but when I did vote--it was simple. My "COVERBOY" came in fourth. Last month I had problems voting-- never did I see a request for email, etc., so in a frustrated state, I did not vote for last month's CVB.

 

I HAVE A SUGGESTION: only include new escorts to be represented; if an escort is well-known or seasoned or experienced, do NOT include him.

Last month if this had been the case, the beautiful Kristian would have been the victor perhaps followed by Tony#2 of Chicago.

Should I make this a separate thread to get the responses?

I don't remember. I know there were some problems with the engine last month and some things were loosened up.

It's unlikely to change. HB picks each day's coverboy from the reviews posted that day. His criteria is already restrictive because he won't use a coverboy pic that doesn't show his eyes. Guys like Rick Munroe who won't show their face are just never considered.

 

Guys that have a high number of reviews already suffer reduced participation since it's 30 days in between when they get a review posted, where a less frequently reviewed escort is only on 10 days' separation. (I think it's 10 vs. 30 days, you can find out in the site's FAQ.)

Hey, I do show my face! Oh wait...no, that's my ass. I always get the two confused since everyone always wants to kiss both of them.

 

It's funny how so many guys have told me, after meeting me, that they were surprised I was so handsome (ain't I modest?) and/or that I'd really clean up if I showed my face online but I have my reasons for not doing that.

No. I assume the guy doesn't want to take the chance of family,

employers, etc. finding out about his escort business.

I don't presume that an escort who doesn't show his face isn't attractive, but then everybody has their own views of what attractive is.

 

I don't tend to hire escorts without face pics because face is very important to me.

No. I just don't make any assumptions if I don't see the face. I figure it may be handsome or not. If I'm going to hire an escort in an area where there are a number of escort reviews, I will generally hire the escort who shows more (i.e. face and chest) rather than less (i.e. clothed or faceless) simply because I'd rather not have to make assumptions which may prove false.

When I vote for Coverboy of the Month, I simply vote for the guy I find the most attractive among that set of pictures. Since I have not hired all (or even most) of them, I don't judge them on their escorting skills. When voting for Escort of the Year, however, that is a different matter. I vote for the escort who's given me the most memorable/wonderful experience.
