One of the few advantages of never having passed through a cute stage is a certain calm acceptance of the visible effects of aging. Except for the gray, some frown lines and a small pot, I look pretty much the same as 20 years ago. The only thing that really gets to me are those soup strainers growing out of my nose holes.

It's not all that unusual for people who are extremely good-looking at an early age to "hit the wall" earlier- and in my observation, it's not necessarily an issue of them not maintaining themselves, it's really like they age worse regardless of what they do. I wonder if it has something to do with early puberty. I remember a lot of hot 13-14 year olds who looked like they were 25, and at 30 they'd lost their hair and had dark circles under their eyes that no beauty regimen was going to mitigate.

Part of it too is sun exposure - all those beautiful people showing off at the beach have to pay the piper at some point.

An interesting social observation I made last month in Sao Paolo: There is one street where a multitude of gay men hang out on weekend nights. The first block is gorgeous twinks in their finest outfits, the second block is middle aged men wearing whatever, the third block are senior gay men looking pretty frumpy. The twinks can walk down the block and see their future, and the seniors can make the reverse trek. The groups do not otherwise mix.

The collegiate guys are not there at all!

My guess is part of it is genetics and part is that he was busy studying so he could graduate. I'd be willing to bet many of us are not as hot as we once were when we were 19 either. Speaking for myself over the years the pounds are sneaking up on me. I went from a small sized shirt to a medium and now a large. Instead of a full head (on my shoulders!) of brown hair I now have little flakes of gray and even have some on my chest. And I am sure if I look close enough I even have a wrinkle or two. Honestly some of you need to get over this forever beauty thing that escorts aren't allowed to age and we are supposed to look like we are some youthful age. It's part of life that we age, sometimes lose hair, gain a few pounds and what not. For those of you who wont see someone because he might have gained a few pounds or because he might not have a full head of hair on his head are practicing the same form of discrimination that you don't like being pushed on yourselves. Greg I don't think it's fair to call it discrimination. Don't forget the client is paying $200 or $300 for an hour of the escorts services. For that money he deserves to get a pretty pristine package.

 

It's like most commercial transactions. If you're paying sticker price for a car, you don't expect the upholstery to be worn, the fenders dented and the tires bare.

I was struck by the deeper meaning behind this post, and understood what you intended, Greatness.

 

Last summer I was traveling around and by chance I ran into a now-retired escort who was the first one who REALLY turned me on to adult gay sex.
