If an escort donates, that is great, but if he is donating only as part of his advertising program, then I believe they are donating for the wrong reason. However, I also think it would be wrong to assume that a donation from a named escort is not sincere. For me personally, many of my donations are anonymous for one of two reasons - a don't want public recognition and/or I don't want to be put on another solicitation list.

Good point. I was also taught that it's tacky to announce your charitable contributions. Maybe my parents were uptight in that regard, but I think they had a good point, too. Not that I think that anybody whose name appears on the pixel wall is tacky...I just think it's a personal decision whether or not to do that.
