Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour

I've got the chance to see Madonna last night on her short visit in Belgium within the infamous "Sticky & Sweet" World Tour. All I can say is that she's still at the top of her game. I loved the show and had much fun dancing and singing with my best friends who made it to the concert especially for the occasion.

 

Although the pre-concert warm up with world-famous DJ Paul Oakenfold started under a heavy rain, the sky cleared up later and allowed us to enjoy the show. Two-and-a-half hours of pure joy in open air under the stars. It's worth mentioning that Madonna paid a tribute to Michael Jackson. She sang a special song for him ... it was moving.

 

All in all, a superb show and a great time was had by all.

I have to give Madonna her due, she can still conjure up a sexy image and pump out a tune. At the rate she is going, she is going to enter the pantheon of sex goddesses like Mae West and Marlene Deitrich!

 

A late friend of mine who was in the entertainment business thought she was a flash in the pan back in the '80's. We used to have arguments about her star power which I invariably lost since I didn't have as many facts and comparisons at my disposal to counter his arguments. He would be rolling in his grave now, knowing what success Madonna has achieved and held onto.

 

And I am jealous if those are pictures of her current squeeze!
