It always amuses me when a well-meaning escort tries to say something nice - but doesn't quite manage it.

 

The best two "compliments" I have received from escorts were:

 

"You must be the same age as my father but you are in much better shape"

 

and my favourite-

 

"You must have been pretty good looking when you were young"

A variation I've heard: "You're in great shape for your age" and its mate "you look very good for your age."

 

The funny thing is that when I asked (these were dancers in strip clubs) how old they they thought I was, the responses were 15-20 years younger than my actual age. Of course, when I was their age, to me 40 was really, really old.
