Greg this is a lie we tell ourselves to avoid thinking about the inevitable. Believe me, I have been active and my mental health is fine its my fucking knees and back that kill me in the morning and generally every few weeks there is something else that happens that makes me say what the hell is that, my body never acted like that before. So enjoy your body while the kinks and chinks and weak links are minimal because getting older is a bitch.

Purplekow is right, getting older can be a bitch. However, I am very thankful that with it comes just a bit of wisdom so I hopefully don't repeat the same dumbass mistakes of my youth. Not to mention, if you play your cards right and enjoy some of the talents of those around here, it can be one helluva ride!

Actually this will happen again in your lifetime, Jackhammer, actually in less than a month if you can hang on that long. In Canada and I believe elsewhere in the world we put the day before the month in a digital rendering of the date. We write August 7 of this year as 07/08/09. At the time you specified, we will have 04/05/06/07/08/09 on August 7th as well, looked at in our way. So if you sleep through the one in July, maybe you can catch the August event!

I went to Wikipedia after writing the above and it confirmed that the US is one of the few countries in the world to put the month before the day in digital format of dates. They gave the example of 9/11 meaning the fall of the Berlin Wall in Europe (November 9th, 1989) and the day of the terrorist attacks in the USA (September 11th, 2001). Vive la difference!
