Bad Boys Pool Party

I've just returned from Will Clark's Bad Boys Pool Party in Palm Springs. It was *FABULOUS*. If you ever get the chance to go, DO IT!

 

Don't go thinking it's a sex party. It's clothing-optional, but sex is prohibited. (Make your hookups for later in the weekend if that's what you're after. ;-)) This party, and the parties before and after it, is to raise money for a good cause and to put "happy" back into gay.

 

For each party, there are a dirty-dozen "featured" Bad Boys (see this party's list at http://www.badboyspoolparty.com), but pornstars are like nuns: they travel in packs. (And there were some pretty hot numbers among the "civilians" too!)

 

The event itself is like a 3-ring circus. There's stuff going on on the main stage off and on, go-go boys (including a few that would have had Marc Anthony drooling) around the venue at other times, a masseur, a tarot reader, body painting by Absolut artist John Planas, and just a whole lotta people out to have some fun.

 

LA drag diva Momma and gossip columnist/comedian Billy Masters were co-hosts. A DJ kept the mood of the event upbeat. Cabaret singer Irene Soderburg sang a riotous rendition of "It's raining men!" (the theme for the party) while Jeff Stryker waived his hardon around the stage.

 

The weather cooperated and it was an absolutely glorious day in Palm Springs.

 

There are of course pre- and post- parties, and the rules are slipped a good bit for them. At the Sunday hangover brunch, for example, Michael Brandon (who spent most of the weekend naked) "worked" the crowd. If you wanted to suck his monster for a bit, all you had to do was tell him it was your birthday. }> (There were a LOT of birthday boys!)

 

And, after that event, a small crowd gathered to watch (and help) as Michael fucked the bejeezus out of porn pup Christian Owen in the pool.

 

It's a tremendously fun (and exhausting) weekend.

 

Between the admission charges, the silent auctions, donated tips from bartenders, dancers, etc., and other misc. things, the total raised is expected to be well over $3K. These events have, over the last 5 years, generated more than $150K of revenue for "Aid for AIDS" and specifically the Joey Stefano fund.

 

So it's fun AND it's a good cause!

I was there briefly. It was a yawner. It started in the courtyard of the Desert Palms Inn, a 2nd rate "resort" if ever there was one. (The pewcioua night they were supposed to host a dinner but we ended up going elsewhere because when we got there the kitchen was closed.) The food was bad and slow, and the weather that night had turned cold so everyone stood around with teeth chattering.

 

I suspect the sex part of the party moved into John's room at the hotel after the bar closed, which is when my ride was leaving.

Eric Lavoy is as cute on the inside (personality) as on the outside, too. Actually, they all were.

 

I expected "attitude" from some of the guys (Ryker, Stryker), but there simply was none.

And they weren't the only ones. At one point, I had Bret Wolfe in my lap as well, and he's as cute and sweet as they come (and a VERY capable bottom):

At one point, Bret was bragging about getting fisted by Addison Scott and we were trying to figure out how the hell they had *time* between very closely-spaced events. It turns out, they did it in the hotel hosting the event so I shook Addison's hand shortly after it had been in Bret's ass. (He'd cleaned up, of course.)

 

I *thought* Addison seemed extremely relaxed that evening. ;-)

 

There were pornstars (and escorts) around galore that weren't part of any particular event. They were just there to have fun.

The initial estimate was $30K, not $3K. (Fucking keyboards!)

 

I'm now hearing that after-the-fact counting is putting the gross at $40K. That makes it almost double last year's party in PS and bigger than any Bad Boys Pool Party in the 5-year history of the series.

I went and looked and looked and looked for anyone who was well hung and not a porn star and who might looked like a client or who stuck to Will Clark and I could find no such person. I had a client at 5 p.m. so I left at 4:20 p.m. However, I ran into a bunch of boys, including Nino Bacci, the next day at the Vista Grande/Mirage/Atrium, while visiting a friend of mine from Los Angeles. We had both decided to forgo the Michael Brandon pool party at the Citadal.

We arrived together and left together, and we shared a room, and once in a while through the day our paths crossed but that's about it.
