No... not from my real job, my real life, the hiring of cute gorgeous boys, or even the participation on this site.

 

Just from any further discussions about the "exploitation of youth." I came the introspective realization that I had posted over 50 comments in one thread or another about this topic. In so doing, I didn't change Rod's mind, Flower's mind, or Reg/Andorrian's mind. They didn't change mine. I think we succeeded in amusing Thunderbuns, though, who likes the controversy. And we appear to have driven tmbg (Ritchie) off the board (too bad, colorful character).

 

Well, contrary to the image that I imparted with my obsessive discussion of this topic, I do have another life. So I am returning to that. I am soon to be off to for a wonderful trip that will involve a dozen boys in 5 major cities and 2 countries, and I need to have enough money to make the most of it! LOL

 

Not to mention, all my employees must have had a field day as I was watching this message board instead of watching them! And as Rod has helped me to realize, I need to go back and pay attention to my REAL enemies.

 

Many people could care less that I am doing this, but I just wanted to let everyone know that it is sometimes an uplifting feeling of relief to step back and realize you were obsessing over something that had little relevance to your real life.

 

Internet message boards! Go figure!

 

(by the way, I wrote this after I neurotically whipped up 3 quick responses to Rod and andorrian, but I can't erase those, so those are my last posts on the topic)

As it might happen, Jordan, I believe I do. marcanothony is a valued member of this community and I think even those with whom he has been sparring on this particular issue would agree that it was your comment that serves no purpose, not his. Thanks for all the support, guys, both on this thread and those who sent private messages... but just to make it clear, I didn't retire from this board (can't get rid of me that easily). I simply decided to stop "discussing" the issue of the exploitation of young escorts, since it was becoming quite an unhealthy obsession.

 

There are so many things I have learned from this site, and so many cute kids/fine young men I have met because of it ... so many internet friendships I have made... it is not worthwhile to waste the precious time that I spend on this board embroiled in a circular battle.

 

Since I stopped posting about that issue, I have had time (during my internet play time) to answer private messages to many of you, to IM with a couple other fellow clients about their recent hires, to email/IM some of my favorite escorts (and one retired escort), and to reap the benefits of this site that it was intended to provide.

 

In my recent "donation" to Hooboy, I included a message to him. I am planning a trip to multiple cities in multiple countries. During that time, I will see many very cute escorts that are new to me, several that are "old friends", and even visit with a couple who have retired but we have remained in touch. Every one of those boys who will and have brought me great joy I heard about or met through this site. That's what I should be focusing on during my time on this board!

Actually, I've made many more than 4 posts to this site, but the # doesn't update correctly for some reason. It hasn't in quite a while.

 

I simply said who cares cuz because it seems like this guy is making a big fucking deal crying out for some sort of attention; if he doesn't want to participate any longer, then just don't participate. Marc, I think what Rod is trying to tell us is that it is ludicrous for someone who is constantly boasting about fucking "gorgeous boys" to describe himself as "straight acting." He does have a point.

 

I also agree with Jordan (and with you, apparently) about the attention issue. Your posts remind me of a line from Somerset Maugham about a snobbish man who told a story "the only point of which seemed to be that he knew an earl." The only point of many of your posts seems to be to announce to the rest of us that you like to fuck and spank twinks. These posts often don't involve an exchange of information or opinions about particular escorts or about anything else. They simply proclaim your sexual proclivities to anyone who will listen. If their purpose is not to get attention for you, I can't imagine what it could be. Thanks for clearing this up, Jordan.

I always thought that the main purpose of his posts was to remind us how affluent he was, how much money he had to spend on whoreing and how expensive his cars and country club memberships were.
