Purplekow, perhaps you can answer this longstanding question of mine. You are the very first response to Steven's post, so why did you repeat what he had just said? It isn't as though we all forgot the post already or didn't just read it when we read your response. Was there some doubt in your mind that we would not be clear which post you were responding to?

I realize that this is a small point, but it happens often and I don't know why.

In this particular case, I was trying to use the exact words Steven used and then to twist them a bit to give them a different meaning. I used the quote as it made it easier for me to write my response with the quote in the box in order to keep the wording nearly the same. So it was not that you would forget what he said when reading my response, but rather I wanted it as a reference. Since it is a quote of the only other post and if you just read that post, one would assume that if you did not wish to re-read the quote, you would merely skip over it.
