Charlie..My Fav Place besides the ANVIL during hours.. was "The Barn" after hours! I always got a kick out of the Announcement as the Elevator went up.."Gentlemen Watch your Wallets"! What didn't go on in that place! Of course my Working in the "Tool Box" on West & Jane with the Original TY of TY'S Fame on Christopher...certainly made for a colorful Gay Background in MY Youth..18! LOL

"Out of town" escort attends the NYBC meeting

 

Yes, I know an "out of town" escort who is in to bondage & S&M who has expressed an interest in attending a meeting at NY Bondage Club... That would be a sight to see!

 

Hmm, maybe the "out of town" escort made it to a meeting.

 

This last Sunday evening, went to the NYBC meeting with Raul G Manzo, who was in town for several days from Chicago. We went later in the evening, and the crowd was small. Summer months have fewer guys show up – except for next Sunday, which ties in with Folsom East and NYC Pride activities. If you do go to a meeting, show up earlier rather than later – several guys told us this.

 

In a way, attending with fewer people present worked out well. Raul and I had a chance to wander around and check out the various settings and furniture, and we also could leisurely chat with NYBC offices as well as some other guys who showed up. Everyone was friendly and helpful if we had questions about chairs or cages or whatever, and all the NYBG guys were great about explaining how the organization works. And everyone invited us to come back on another Sunday night to play when there were more people. LOL, I’m sure it didn’t hurt that Raul was dressed in a harness and chaps that showed off his bare ass, with the business end of a riding crop sticking out of his backpack. Seriously, people really were friendly (even to me, dressed in “street” clothes), respectful, and easy to talk to, and I will definitely go back. The setting is fantastic with lots of quiet areas scattered about the more public areas, and even on a quiet night several scenes were happening. It was easy to chat with guys, not like at a cruisy bar or sex club – and the guys passing by in leather jocks and the occasional background sounds of slapping or grunts reminded you that this wasn’t your local weekly book club meeting.

Yes, I knew Raul was planning to be at NYBC this past Sunday, and specifically went hoping to catch up with him there... But I was there earlier in the evening and was gone by the time he showed up. There was a smaller turnout than the norm during the earlier hours, but still a decent number of guys. At most 3 scenes going on simultaneously in different parts of the club, but as usual the most interesting was conducted by Phen and Bryan on the stage area. They had a guy who had a beautifully muscled body with great abs tied up in a blindfolded suspension scene.

 

Now that GMSMA is dissolving, the continuation of the Bondage Club is even more important for there being a safe venue where guys new to the scene can explore. So I hope folks continue to patronize the Club....

Yes uwsman2... the party pictures for the June 14 meeting as posted on the NYBC website do indeed show a "beautifully muscled body with great abs"! It will be interesting to see what the "blog" relates about that June 14 meeting when it is posted this coming weekend!

I'm guessing IF you hit it right the $25 Admission to PADDLES is well worth it!

 

Maybe one can pickup a Discount Ticket at the "Eagles Nest" from the Bartender? Years Ago.. there were places were IF you hungout in certain Bars this was done alot. But alas' I guess those days are long gone now... x(

NYBC Folsom Street East

 

NYBC is supposed to be especially busy following the Folsom Street East Street Fair, which is supposed to take place June 21 - appropriately on Father's Day, since that Fair attracts lots of daddies and their boys. The street fair is 2-6, Bondage Club opens at 6 at Paddles and goes far into the night....
